I finally got around to testing these wicks in my 2.5 inch diameter 9oz jars - and unfortunately - they do not have the flame strength to burn to the edge of 2.5 inch diameter. These will burn a diameter at most 2 inches. Wish that the description had mentioned which diameter size these wicks would have been good for. But letting you buyers know so you are aware.

I only purchased these wicks to "remake" candles, I always have a good bit of wax left in the candles I've burned & I got tired of throwing them out, I felt like I was wasting the money I spent on candles just from the wick(s) burning out before all the wax was gone, so I decided to start melting whatever wax was left in each candle that had a burned out wick & re wick them. These are working out great for the purpose, I end up with (at times) a whole new candle. I used to make homemade candles, & soaps, but it's been years since I've made anything, but buying these wicks actually has me thinking about starting it up again! They definitely burn evenly & slowly just they way a wick should burn.

These work great for making votive candles. They are sturdy and the wick doesn’t bend when pouring in the hot wax, unlike other ones I have tried. The only thing I would improve is adding a sticker adhesive for placing these. I am just dipping them in wax and letting it set up before pouring the rest in, but it would be nicer to have an adhesive.

My dog and son fart a lot, so I use scented candles a lot. There is always tons of wax left over when the wick ends. With these wicks I can melt the left over down, transfer it to a smaller container and get the most of my candle money!

I bought these to consolidate several candles. These got the job done. I looked up instructions online how to best use them. I do wish the wick was a little more rigid and next time I will put some melted wax down in the bottom of the jar to hold the metal disc part in place.

These work good and burn great at a good price.

Does not come with an adhesive, that would improve for the price.

cheap but not worth my effort making the candle... i used 2 of this wick in a 10 oz jar and the 2 wicks died in 1 hours burning. It didn't even melt all the top wax . Very disappointed. Do not recommend this product .m gong, woodlake ca
