Montrail Mens Molokai II Recovery Sandal

I've been wearing Montrail Molokinis for years and absolutely love them. However, the discounted black men's size 8 (my usual size) that I just received was too short. Also, my heel did not align correctly on the right heel cup. They are also a much harder material than my pair from last year. They are either irregulars or an inferior reconfiguration. Luckily, I can return them to this vendor.

Very, very solid. Did not find the somewhat elevated (therapeutic?) arch to be uncomfortable or a problem (I have a medium arch and have no arch issues) as others have noted. The heel cup really holds on to your heel and wiggling this off takes a bit more work than a standard flip-flop, which prefer. Durable buy heavy construction. Heavy enough that it feels more like a shoe is on your foot than a sandal. Again, I'm a big guy and that works for me. YMMV.

Awesome sandals, much better then walking barefoot. Doctor recommended.**update**Price increased from $42 to $60 and there is absolutely no difference in product. My Sandels lasted just under a year before the glue came undone. Not sure if ordered on Amazon if they have been sitting in the warehouse for a long time or are really new (not old glue like you can find at outlets).

I have been buying only Montrail flip flops for a few years. They are by far the most comfortable flip flops I have ever had. Once you bake them and fit them to your feet you will never go back. The only downside to them is that some of the glue that they use to hold parts of the bottom to the sole will fail and you will lose a traction pad on occasion, but they offer warrantee replacements in the first year.

This is my 5th pair of Montrail Molokini....I love love love them and wear them at anytime I am not in shoes, sneakers or sandals. I generally wear a size 9 in Women's but the Molokini II size 9 were just a tad short so I sent them back and tried the men's size 8. They are perfect.I will never be without several pairs at a time.

Suffering from plantar fasciitis for the past 3 months from using a new pair of sof-sole insoles. I needed a sandal with arch support and the Molokai provided that. Originally had the Molokai I years ago and loved it to death. However, $60 is a lot of money for a pair of sandals. Luckily, Amazon has my size for only $34😃. Great moldable sandal w a true to fit size. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a sandal that feels like a sneaker.

The sandals I got were a little small even though I have been ordering size 12 in the Molokai Flip Sandal in the past. The sandals arrived in a plastic bag with no instructions. Amazon quickly exchanged them for size 13 which arrived in a proper shoe box and with instructions. I have been wearing these sandals for several years and this year tried a cheaper brand...big mistake! The only reason I did not give five stars is that the first shipment did not meet expectations. These sandals are very comfortable and usually last 3 years or more. I love them.

Excellent heel cup, strong arch support - exactly what I was looking for. I have worn these flip flops virtually every day since I received them two months ago and find them to be extremely comfortable. However, the bottom is starting to fall apart in at least two seperate areas of the sole. This is not what I would expect from a pair of flip flops that are this expensive. I was just getting ready to buy another pair, but this situation will cause me to be a different brand. Very disappointed...

Fits large, but definitely a durable and comfy sandal. (I wear sandals almost all year long...)
