Russkie narodnye skazki - Russian Folk Tales (Russian Edition)

I bought this book for my 3yo for the illustrations and her love for fairytales. She speaks russian very well so the book was very easy to understand. The illustrations are beautiful! I know one of the reviews said that the book was cheaply made but I don't feel like it was. It was paperback so what more can I expect; it didn't take away from the illustrations for me or my daughter. We still love it and read it often.

I am in Russian 2 in College and had to do a project on Russian fairytales. The internet does not have much on the topic to be honest so I am so glad I purchased this book, it is beautifully illustrated and it was a great way to present them to my class instead of a boring ol' powerpoint. My Russian friends said these were all very famous Russian tales. Mind you, this book is ONLY IN RUSSIAN, no english translations, but that makes it even better to me, and with my level of russian i could piece the story together without needing translations. Thank you Alexander Afanasyev for the A on my project!

I love the book, and illustrations are out of this world! As for being used I would put acceptable next time for condition, not good.

I liked the contents of this book, text and illustrations seemed authentic, and it was quite fun to read. However, the book arrived in terrible condition, the bottom was dirty and ripped.

This book is only in Russian and has great images that goes alone with the stories. The stories are very traditional and my husband, who is Russian loves, this book.
