Rice is the staple food for my family (by this I mean we eat rice twice a day, daily). Being daily consumers of rice we like to get the best one available for us, till now it was Royal basmati rice. It was very coincidental that we had run over for rice and while browsing through Amazon to purchase more rice, I stumbled upon this product (I remembered seeing this rice bag somewhere before), and ordered one to try it out. To my surprise, it turned out to be the best decision! Just by opening the bag I could feel the basmati aroma, and while cooking our entire kitchen was smelling sweet (enough to make a basmati lover drool). The after cooking length of this rice was definitely the longest of all the rice we have used (and trust me, we have tried most of them if not all). With no doubt, I can say that this is the best basmati rice available.I felt that the 3 factors that distinguish Empire Basmati rice from other rice are:1) It has a milky white color (preferred by my family and friends, my dad tells me this was the color of rice he grew up eating, which was naturally processed without use of artificial rice enhancing methods), unlike others which are yellowish.2) Amazing aroma and taste3) Longest rice lengthPS: Make sure to follow the cooking instructions on the bag!

Great quality of basmati rice! Have been using this brand since last 2 months. The best part is that it is very easy to prepare within a short period of time (30 min soak + 8-10 min cook and done!). The rice has its own taste, which is even good enough to eat on its own (I like to have some with curd or make biryani, pic attached). You can add flavours as per taste, it goes well with almost every one of them. Though the price is relatively high (which I am guessing is due to added delivery cost and fee for a bulky item), but trust me it's completely Worth it. You can easily feel the difference once you try it yourself.

I normally buy a bag of Basmati rice at a local middle-eastern store. With the wife being sick, on a whim I bough this product from Amazon. So far, it has impressed me both with the aroma and flavor intensity. The product arrived sealed in a container to perserve the aged Basmati rice to the extent possible. So far, I have used maybe a pound out of the 10-lb bag. It is a good product, at a good price point. The Amazon packaging gets it to your doorstep in good shape. I am not a complete convert to shopping rice on Amazon, but getting closer.

I have tried so many basmati rice but this is the winner as soon as I opened the bag I felt the aroma of the rice, the instruction is in the back of the rice and I’m telling you the grain is long, Aroma filled my apartment it cooks so well and very delicious. I wish the bag had sealer. I will buy it again and again

YOU DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW THE LABOR INTENSIVE DIRECTIONS ON THE PACKAGE. TURNS OUT PERFECT EVERY TIME.SOOO GOOOD! AND 7 GRAMS PROTEIN PER SERVING!

Not worth wasting ur money on it as soon as u wash it it brakes up

This rice tastes amazing. It cooks up fluffy, fragrant and light. But the price is ridiculous...price gouging! The product packaging itself is advertising that it costs $12.99. The price I paid is more than double that. I will not recommend you buy this product off Amazon unless the price improves.
