Great underground connection for electric fence.

It's exactly what I expected

I bought this wire to put an electric pulse barrier around bird feeder. I did it based on a YouTube video with some modification. The wire was exactly what was needed to do the project. It worked great. The customer service was also very professional and responded promptly by email via Amazon. Great material.

If one must extend an electric fence under a gate or across a road, this is the wire to use. It must be put into plastic emt conduit underground lest the wire leak current when it rains. I don’t suppose any high voltage wire will work flawlessly if allowed to be wet underground. The company insists on conduit and I have had no problems doing it that way. In fact, the fence now shows higher voltage after a rain instead of lower. Good deal.

Works absolutely perfectly. You’ll know you’ll need this when you install a high powered electric fence for your animals and you actually hear the wire (if use household wiring) arcing underground!
