This game is easily one of the best shoot em ups for the Sega Genesis, and is essential to any Sega Genesis library. I can confirm that it plays excellently on the newer AtGames Sega Genesis consoles, which is important since a vertical shooter is one of the only types of games that doesnt come built in on that console.

Bought the replica game of Musha this is the best shooter on the Genesis and the replica will save you a lot of money since this is a really rare gem. I have to mention that the label sticker peals very easy so be careful not to pull cartridge out holding sticker. Other than that this reproduction cart has the entire game and is done very good I recommend to anyone who is into shumps on Genesis

The Genesis has been plagued by fans for its inferior audio to the SNES and I say give this a listen.MUSHA has metal written all over it and takes full advantage of the Genesis' sound capabilities. Sound effects liven the game as enemies try to kill you. I personally blast the BGM in options just because its sound track's amazing.Of course the game looks equally good with great sprite design as well as level layout. The game for a shmup has a unique look that doesnt follow the norm as to be a "ship". You're a giant robot with guns and special guns with upgrades and side arms to change in situations.If challenging, yet exciting action is you're thing pick it up and be amazed.

If you're a fan of shooters such as Raiden, Ikaruga, R-Type, & 1942 then this game will appeal to you. What makes this game unique is the weapons system, non-stop action, difficulty, art design, & music.

This game is AWESOME! Known as "Aleste" in Japan, M.U.S.H.A. is a great shooter. I discovered this game by watching "Classic Game Room" on YouTube. They reviewed the game in 8 parts. There are emulators out there, & it is pricey--but this is now the centerpiece of my collection. Get this game for yourself & see if you can stop playing it! YOU CAN'T!!! Thank you, Skully!

This is a great game if you are a fan of 2D shooters on the Sega Genesis. The music/audio quality is pretty good and have some catchy techno-tunes, but only if you are a fan of the way the Genesis' sound chip is (has a techno/electronic vibe).I found this game cart only for forty nine cents at a local Goodwill and my heart almost skipped a beat. I was already aware that the game was mega rare and at that time, cart only copies were going for seventy to eighty dollars. Now, carts go for the high one-eighties.The game is pretty hard, though I'm not the best at shooters. The levels are varied and features some neat graphical effects, such as mode 7 in the background, and fluid motion with no slowdown.

IMO this is the greatest shooter of all time.
