This lovely hat fits perfectly. Loving the wide brim and neck covering.I am a cancer survivor, had radiotherapy and as such I need to cover up when outside in sunshine. This hat does it perfectly. I'd thoroughly recommend it, even if you've not had cancer but like to cover up.

Practical and light

I have tried it on at home at it fits nicely but haven't worn it out yet.

I wore a baseball cap during the recent spell of hot weather and the back of my neck suffered sunburn when my sun lotion wore off during the course of the day. I ordered this hat and I'm sure it will prevent this from happening again. The hat is very lightweight; the brim is nice, wide and soft without being too floppy. The elastic band ensures a perfect fit. The neck protection looks very pretty and dressy; this is more of a going-out sun hat than many of the other options for sale. I had also ordered a second, different style sun hat with neck protection to wear when at home gardening or walking the dogs. The other hat makes me look, to quote my husband, like one of those Japanese soldiers in war movies he enjoys watching. Unfortunately, I have to agree with him on that count.I ordered this hat in white once I realised that the inside of the visor / brim is not actually also white but a shade of medium grey (the same grey as the pretty bow on the outside of the hat). From previous experience I know that, had the inside of the visor been white, the resulting glare from sunlight when not wearing sun glasses would be next to unbearable. Thanks to the inside of the visor being grey, there is no glare when reading a book, magazine or newspaper in the sun, without shades. I love this hat.
