Great tool - not an instrument
This is not a musical instrument - it is a tool to practice chord shape and strumming patterns only.I keep this in my truck, so I can fiddle with it at traffic lights, practicing my chord shapes. Do not try to tune this, as it's not an instrument. Even if you could "tune" it, its only like eight inches long (a standard guitar is 25 inches and a ukulele is 15 inches) so it would be very high pitched...

Good, but not as pictured
This is exactly what it is meant to be, a thin reproduction of a guitar neck so that you can practice fretting while away from your guitar. No more. No less. The case fits nice and tight, slides up to close, slides open and then holds in place making the entire thing about as long as the first 12 frets on the guitar. The wires are thin, not as heavy as real guitar strings, but fine to practice your chords. The reason I rated it one star down was not because of quality, but because it does not match the picture or description. I specifically bought this one because it showed a blue storage bag, and what looked like a very pretty dark Brazilian Wood front board it said. That is not what this is.You can see from the picture that it's a very light unfinished pine looking wood. And the bag it came in was black not blue. It's not a big deal. This is just a little thing so that I can remember my cords when we're out of town for a couple of weeks. But it's disappointing when it doesn't look anything like the picture.

Useless
I had hoped this would be something to practice scales and chords but this had action or string height to simulate guitar. You may be able to practice shapes but otherwise don't waste your money.
