Good shovel
A good, heavy duty shovel. It is not good for taking into account hot stove because the handle is short but it is good for reaching all areas. I appreciate that it comes with a way to hang it up

Sturdy shovel w/ a longer handle.
A sturdy shovel and the handle is a little longer than others I looked at. With interest in shoveling hot coals, the greater distance away from the hand is nice. The "Heat Resistant Finish" is probably an apt description; stick it in hot coals and the finish goes up in flames, but can shake it out, haha. Overall, a good sized shovel and happy with the performance.

Good value
It's an ash shovel, and it does its job well. You have to take it by the handle and scoop it down into the ashes for it to work. Then you can use it to lift the ashes out of the area and move them to a different location, presumably an ash bucket. Do not buy if you feel you would have difficulty in performing any of these tasks. :-) Seriously though, it's well-made and a good value for the money.

good little ash shovel
It's well-made, the matte black finish is nice. It's not exactly as pictured, though. These things come two ways, with a slightly angled handle ( as it's pictured online) or with a straight handle. The one I got has a straight handle.. which actually I think, makes it a bit stronger. So while it looks just a little different.. it'll probably hold up longer than the one I thought I ordered.

Great for small wood stoves
Very nice shovel for our smaller wood stove. Easily able to clean the ashes.

Works well!
Item is not very large and more on the compact side, but that’s exactly what I wanted because I needed a smaller shovel to get ash out of my firepit. . This is made from heavy duty steel and is solid. The shovel head is shaped well so that it holds the ashes like a spoon while it has a straight edge for scooping. . Easy to hold and use. While this is solid, it’s not too heavy at all. Solid craftsmanship.

Appears solid
I’ve gone through too, and one fell apart the other melted between the handle and the shovel during this cold spell we just had which explains why I ordered this one. Pairing solid is one thing and we shall see where that holds up as well as it looks, but it does look solid. Had to expect it to hold up.

Its a good fireplace shovel.
Its a typical metal fireplace/woodstove ash shovel. What else can I say. Works good for me.

We have a full fireplace set, somehow the shovel went missing. This one fits the bill perfectly.
