Paid for itself in a day.
I purchased this polisher after learning that my tile supplier charged $12 a linear foot for bullnose profile. Needing 116 feet, I quickly determined that I would take a chance and purchase this kit. It was money well spent. Without any previous stone work experience I was able to profile all 116 feet. It took two full days to complete the task but the money I saved more than make up for it.I will say that I was glad that I was performing this in the warmer months because the plastic guard surrounding the polishing pads did little to keep the water from soaking me. I had to overcome the fear of electrocution. I did receive a slight shock a couple of times. I was able to fix this by placing a piece of electrical tape over the seam where the two haves of the plastic case meet. I did read the comment about the water line issue, the supplied line should perform well as long as you don't have you supply hose turned up high. Common sense should tell you that you can't expect a 1/4" line to survive with a 1/2" or 3/4" garden hose attached at full pressure. The radius bit made short work of achieving the desired profile. The most time consuming process was working my way through each of the of the polishing pad grit's. Don't think you can skip grit's, it will only take you longer to achieve the final finish. If you think you will polishing more than about 120 feet I would order a second set of polishing disks due to wear. I don't regret buying this kit.

Perfect Kit for DIYer
After a little setup and hookup, this product did exactly what I wanted on some large pieces of travertine that I was using as a countertop. The bullnose edge came out perfectly and after quickly working my way through the 8 polishing pads had a shine as good as the face of the travertine. Changing the Velcro backed pads was quick and easy.My only two minor complaints are, first, that changing between attachments is challenging because of the rubber splash shield. Second, the kit includes a stamped-steel wrench for holding the shaft in place while you attach/remove the attachments, but they didn't include a wrench that fits the base of the radius-er. Fortunately, I had one, but it's bigger than what a lot of people may have in a shoebox of tools. One tip I'd pass on to users is to dry the travertine after grinding, before commencing with the polishing. When you first begin to grind off the edge, the top bearing of the radius-er spins with the grinding face. As you get close to finishing the radius, it will ride against the face of the stone as it slows down. When the stone is wet, you don't realize that it has lightly scratched the face. If you notice it while you still have the proper grit pad on the grinder, you'll save some time as you work through the finer pads. They're quickly removed starting with the 200 or 400 grit pad. This worked so well, I'm considering concrete countertops in the kitchen and look forward to radiusing and polishing them to an eye-dazzling shine.

Do not buy this junk
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TOOL !!!!I used the bullnose profile bit on about 12' of travatine took about an hour after set up went well but had to by some fittings to make the hose connection leak free. The following Wednesday ( Veterans Day ) went start polishing the edges using the sanding discs hoked up the hose plugged in push on the switch and pop went to reset GFI still nothing and still red light, Bad GFI ? So at this point I made the the bad decision do I return or cut the cord and re-wire and plug into GFI outlet, not wanting to wait and needing to finish the polishing I cut the cord and installed the plug , still would not run. Now knowing I would not get a refund I decided to take apart and investigate more , power at switch in and out into the RPM control no power out so now I cut that out and wire direct and now it works but unsafe as it is and without the control of the speed I have to trash it. So do not buy this does not last , I wasted my $300 and all I have is a bullnose bit and sanding discs that worked well on my Dewalt cordless grinder so my tiles got finished but still mad at the wasted time and money on this .

Not too bad
This is not too bad if you don't mind the occational shock. 45 min into my first use, the GFI failed and whamo.Albeit, I was drenched from head to toe and in a pool of water.I polish small odd shaped stones with this and it is good for comfort and ease of use at weird angles.

Great buy for the DIY'er!!!
I have never installed any granite and had no idea what I was getting into but this tool was the answer. I was able to grind a radius on over 65' of granite and buff it out just like a professional. Be prepared to get wet there is no way around it so pick a nice warm day.

Worked perfect
Tool worked as advertised. No complaints and quite surprised the resin pads would probably last for approx. 3-5 times the amount of polishing, I did 40 sqft of concrete countertops. REMEMBER when using water, turn on ever so slightly to avoid rupture in water system.

Poor quality
Difficult to install or change radius bit and polishing base do to non locking arbor. Almost impossible with splash guard in place. With in the first 30 minutes water hose supplied with saw for cooling burst. Returned to Amazon.
