It fitted!
Fitted perfectly.Tapped the old cable to the new to pull through the arm.The spring was surplus to requirements (made the mechanism opening more/too sensitive), but easy enough to remove.

Effective solution.
A seemingly exact replica of the broken part, the actually pull was a little larger than expected so took some negotiation to get into the hole of the chair. But with perseverance went in for a snug fit. Easily installed the cable etc and has been working fine for weeks seems sturdy and definitely worth the price.
