Women's Short Sleeves Dolman Top Scoop Neck Drape Shirt

I ordered this shirt with the intent to wear it with dress slacks to work. Judging by the size chart, I should have been a Medium as I wear a size 8 in pants. I tried the shirt on and it was tighter through the stomach than I expected for a shirt with rouching at the hips and resulted in some unflattering belly pouch and muffin top. The material and quality of the shirt are better than expected given the price and I hope the bigger size I ordered will work out to be more flattering and more professional. I will post another photo with the bigger size when it arrives, but in the mean time hopefully this review will help others order the correct size. I am 5’8” and 160 lbs in the photo with a 34 C bra size. The shirt is wrinkled as I knew I was returning it and didn’t want to wash/iron it.UPDATE: The large size is a much better fit. The love handles are hidden under a nice gentle flow of fabric. I added a back view as well to show the seam that runs up the back and the rouching is also all the way around. The specks are on my mirror and not on the fabric.

I am an hourglass, 45-38-45, 5'6", and what most people these days call "thick.". I normally buy tops in 2XL size simply to accommodate my 36HH cup chest. Well, this accommodates my chest all right, but my waist swims in it. The "gathering" at the bottom does not create a waist, and is the same width as the rest of the shirt. It's basically a tent. Fortunately I have a high-waisted pencil skirt I can tuck it into, but this was really not what I expected at all. I wouldn't even order a size down with the shape (or lack thereof) of this garment.On the positive side, the material is lightweight but not see-through, and is soft and comfortable.

so I bought this shirt originally in black and navy to complement a wide variety of maxi skirts I have. After reading the reviews, I went a size larger than I would have otherwise ordered and they fit loosely and comfortably. On the black and navy I definitely recommend sizing up. however on the grey and and teal-ish one that I bought the gathering is much different than on the first two (which was unexpected) and it affects the fit MASSIVELY. they are much too big. I wish I had known the gathering would be different because I don't like them as much as the first two I ordered.

This is kinda oversized which is nice for wear with leggings. I’ll wash it and see if it shrinks but the fabric makes me think it will not. It’s kinda a heavy, dressy, silky knit polyester. I’m 5’7” weight 220lbs and orders the xxl!

I was torn about how to label this shirt in terms of size. My chest is 34F. My dresses normally get taken in quite a bit or I look like I’m wearing a tent. If not for my chest I’d wear size 14 dresses. That being said, I typically go for the xl shirts because the middle fits great even if the top might be a tad tight. The top fit great, a little loose, even. But it hugs a little tighter around my middle than I’d like. If I got the 2x I think the neck may have dipped too low for my liking though. It’s not a huge issue because I occasionally wear corsets and I have one that goes under this shirt with no problem. I would just be careful when buying. You’re either going to show some rolls you might not like or be swimming in the top portion.

I'm always looking for a short sleeve shirt that is "just right". Not cut too low in front, body hugging, but not overly tight. This is an excellent style to wear casually or dress up a little. Super soft, washing well...I need more in more colors!

I ordered this shirt thinking that it would loose around the middle; however, the fabric is a stretchy, clingy fabric not a looser, flowing material. Also, the color was a bit off. In the pic of the purple top, it appears to be a royal purple color but the shirt was actually more like a fuchsia/ plum shade. It’s not a bad shirt, but not what I was expecting.

Ordered 3 of these shirts as I was thrilled with the first one I purchased. I am 200 lbs and 5’6. My upper arms are bigger and I wanted a longer sleeve to provide more coverage. I could’ve ordered the Large but wanted a more lose fit in the arms and stomach area. Very happy with the material. Not too thin and not too thick. Can be dressed up or dressed down if necessary. The cinched looks helps disguise the tummy flab which is a bonus. I’ve had many compliments!

I usually wear 2X so I order 3X and it fit very good. And good material
