I changed my rating one star to five as I was able to return the first fan and get a replacement from Amazon. The new one works much better and the battery lasts a long time.OLD Review:I bought this for my wife to replace a regular AA battery fan that finally gave up the ghost after several years. My wife charged it up and was very happy with this fan for about 4 minutes and then the charge ran out. Tried charging it a few more times and the same result as far as usage time. So, it takes 2 hours to charge and lasts 4 minutes. Not what we were hoping for. At least with her old fan you could replace the batteries and get several hours of reliable use. After reading a bunch of reviews apparently some of these fans have bad batteries from the start while others have good batteries. Inconsistent quality from a cheap Chinese made product. If I can't send it back I probably will take it apart and see if I can replace the battery. YMMV

This tiny little fan fits in your pocket or purse so you can carry it anywhere. Because it folds up with the blades inside the case you dont have to worry about damaging the fan while carrying it either. Just pop it our and push the button for regular or high speed and it is instant relief. When it is super hot out, like it has been lately, this fan is a blessing to have when going to a festival, or hiking or an amusement park or anywhere else that you are going to be outside for long periods of time. I have two now, but am going to buy a few more before our next family vacation somewhere warm!!

I bought this fan for a trip to Disney in June. It has done a great job - the low speed is a nice gentle breeze, and the high speed is better than some small plug-in fans I've had. The fact that it folds is really nice for shoving it in my bag before getting on a ride. I stuck my fingers in the blades by accident a couple of times and it didn't hurt me or the fan a bit. I haven't run the battery out yet, but I'll admit I'm not using it all the time like some people might. Overall, I'm very happy with it, and my travel companion is planning to buy one for herself!

I really wanted to be obsessed with this. Living in the south during the summer can be dreadful. And bought these to help get cooled down. They work great and seriously so small loved it. But man that battery life is extremely short. I bought 2 and had them both charged and ready to go for the day. Worked for about an hour (off and on throughout the day) and then died. Great fan just needs longer battery life!

This is a great portable fan! I took it on a trip and it was perfect! Battery life goes long enough for an outing. Love that it charges quickly. I carry with me every where I go now. Also like that it can sit on its own, however it tends to start walking, but I just place something behind it when it sits on a desk.

This little fan was exactly what I needed for the Florida heat! Unfortunately, it only works while it's connected. As soon as I unplug it, the battery lasts like 2 minutes. Garbage. :(

This is really pockety and helps while doing a long walk/hike especially in hot weather. Charging goes through fine. Love the pocket fan.

It’s awesome. Used in Disney World and lasted ALL DAY. I sometimes use it at home too.
