Wastes a lot of the traps because it sticks together.
It does what it’s supposed to do - catch and kill fruit flies. My roommate left for the weekend and left a few things in their room and it attracted fruit flies. Got this because I thought, for the price, it was a good deal. But the traps themselves ripped as I was pulling them out and twisting both sides. They were just so stuck together, I wasted 2 full packs because the adhesive stuck to itself or got to the string for the tack to loop onto, or it just came out whole stuck together and not able to adhere on the container it came in. I was very disappointed that most of them were wasteful.

You’ll waist and least one box trying to open it
I would give it 5 stars but I had to go through an entire box waiting products before they stop ripping apart. I followed the instructions and have got these in the past these are either old or a cheap brand.

So cheaply made they rip!
I open the package pulled out the 1st one and went to pull it out of the tube to hang it and it ripped. Thought maybe I was being too rough with it so I tried another one. It came out 3" and ripped as well. Same with the 3rd one so I gave up. Junk!

Hold on to your butts
You know those convenience stores in the middle of no where that have ancient products covered in dust in the corner of the store? That's the main distributor for this company. The glue on the packaging is so weak from age it couldn't hold the containers to the cardboard backing when I picked it up.Opening the tubes? Forget about it. Even if you follow the directions, the glue in the bottle is so weak it doesn't hold. If it does, the paper will 100% rip because it has been saturated in glue its whole life, which is probably 30+ years. Finally, since they ship a million of them, you'll get one to come out 80% intact. You'll hang it up, and instantly a billion flying demons will land on it. They do this not because it is effective, but to mock your naieve dillusions that the glue coating the strips is any stronger than any of the glue in the packaging. It kept them from flying off of it, but they could walk around on it just fine. So they just ran to where it was anchored, walked off, then were fully capable of flying. Some of them would land on it repeatedly, because it's now a convenient purch in the middle of the room.TL;DR -- Save your money don't buy this.

Enjoy that garbage pile in the sky, dear fly...
This is great for catching annoying little gnats that move in and refuse to pay rent. But I just spent 30 minutes (don’t judge me) wrestling with my conscience when a full-sized housefly got stuck and didn’t die right away. He begged me to tell his larvae he loved them and to give him his last rites. I complied, but that lil dude held on for dear life for quite some time. He eventually asked me to pull the plug (at least that’s what I assume that loud buzzing meant - I honestly thought our dishwasher was broken my lil bug pal was buzzing so loudly).Time of death: 9:18 PM, Central Standard TimeCause of death: I squished him with a paper towel because I felt guilty he was suffering
