Small things make a difference
I do 3 or 4 brake jobs a year between my vehicles and helping out friends. I have used high end premium brake sets and basic budget shopper sets and many in between. Truthfully, I cannot remember the last rotor and pad sets that I worked with that did not include the standard hardware like pad retaining clips. I am disappointed that a $160 set did not include a couple dollar hardware items. So, in the middle of the job, I need to stop and run to the local auto parts store to get hardware that should have been included in the first place. Definitely makes me wonder where else they cut corners.
