More comfortable than Tevas!
I ordered these Tevas-look-alikes for an upcoming trip to SE Asia during rainy season. We're going to be traversing many miles a day, in both busy urban areas and jungles full of monkeys/elephants. I ordered both these shoes and the Teva Sanborn Universal (priced considerably higher) and tried both on, walking around my home and going about my evening making dinner, etc. These shoes were much more comfortable than I expected!!! The Tevas have a slightly higher/more elevated heel (probably thicker cushioning), but they also rubbed my ankles in a way that guaranteed I'd get blisters if I continued to wear them. These shoes did not rub anywhere and were more adjustable due to the back velcro across the heel (which the Tevas did not have - just thicker padding behind the heel). Overall, I think the footbed is thick enough to provide substantial cushioning for long days of walking and the straps are all 100% comfortable. I've since returned the Tevas and continued to wear these Gold Pigeon shoes to break them in before our travels, but its been almost unnecessary to break them in because they are 100% comfortable from the start! My husband also ordered Gold Pigeon shoes (the GP Simplus with magnetic closure) and reports the same - instantly comfortable, no break in period, have already withstood significant rainstorms/ activity and look new. Win-win!

Best buy of the season!
love these shoes! I had looked at the expensive brands but saw the reviews on these & decided to get them. I bought these to wear for a cruise as water shoes but wanted to test them out first. I wore them in my pool & also to work with a casual skirt. I had them on from 7am until 12 midnight and they were super light & comfortable. I even got up the next morning & worn them out running errands. Best buy of the season!!! Thanks to all who reviewed these, it helped make the decision easy to purchase them.

Great Teva knock-off. Will buy again!
I have been wearing these almost daily this summer and I'm really happy with them. I wear a 9 in most shoes but I ordered a 39 (normally I wear a 40) I just had to wear the toe strap a little loose at first. Over time the strap stretched out a little so I'm glad I went a size down.I chose these after looking into some Tevas, and I have to say I think I actually like them better than Tevas, especially for half the price. The sole is a little softer than Tevas and I think the bottom has better traction.I've worn these on light hikes and prefer them to my old Chacos. They have also been great and very comfy for kayaking and for walking around and wading on rocky beaches. They are getting a little worn around the toe, but I expect I will be able to wear them for at least another summer before they are totally trashed. For $25 that's good enough for me!

The Fit in the Heel is Narrow
If you have wide feet, you may want to look elsewhere. I had an old pair of Speedo flip-flops that were ready to give up the ghost, so I ordered a pair of these to replace them. I expected the straps in the forefoot to be a little snug at first, and they were...but not overly so. What I did immediately notice, however, is that my heel seemed to veer off the edge of the sandal when I walked. I checked the old Speedos of the same size: the width in the forefoot was identical, but the heel was a full 1/2-inch narrower than the the Speedos. A half-inch may not sound like a lot, but when you consider the overall width of your heel, it's proportionately a big deal.I'm keeping these for general in-the-house wear, but I'm buying a different make and model for use outdoors, where stability in the heel is necessary. Overall, though, after a month of casual indoor wear an hour or so a day, these seem to be fairly well-made and I see no evidence of deterioration of materials or any other problems. They're just cut too narrow in the heel for me.

No support at all
According to the label (see pictures) these sandals feature a "bounce back sole". This means that sole is relatively thin, very soft and compressible. This is terrible for people with plantar fasciitis like me, as the foot flexes a lot on each step as the heel "sinks". This should have been on the Amazon page, as I would not have bought them if I knew this before. On top of that, the label says that "the velcro is for adjusting purposes, reuse them frequently is not recommended", since the only way of putting these sandals is by releasing the velcro, I don't think they would last much. I won't find out as I am sending them back.

Comfortable and simple
The day after I got mine, I wore them to the beach. No annoying flip-flopping on my foot and no thong between my toes made for some happy feet. I found them comfortable and I like that both straps are adjustable. They are really comfortable and unassuming (with no gaudy logos or designs, these are essentially just a nice sole with some securing straps, which is what I was looking for).

Lightweight yet durable. Great buy!
Love, love, LOVE these camp shoes! I took them to change into at camp on a 5-day backpacking trip around Mount Rainier and my little piggies were incredibly grateful. They're lightweight, tough, and inexpensive (though I did have to order the pink ones, since they were the only ones in stock in my size at the time...) This style of sandal works great for camping or backpacking, because they don't interfere with your toes (like thong sandals) and you can pull off that sexy PNW socks-n-sandals look. Five stars!

Finally comfy sandals!!
I've been on a search for good hiking/walking sandals for about 2 years now. I've tried Chocos, Merrell, sketchers, Columbia, and barefoot. Plus countless brands I tried off the shelves of shoe stores. The soles are flexible and you'll have full range of motion with these sandals, the cushy and soft to walk on.Straps are adjustable and feel soft against the foot and don't cut in anywhere.I'm so happy I found these!! 🥰😍
