Excellent work....but....
This is an excellent compilation of material on the Nakshatras. The author clearly knows his material and he presents it in a clear and very concise manner with lots of great stories from the Vedic tradition. If you want to learn about the Nakshatras and the meanings behind them, this is a great place to begin. My concern is that if you are not a "Hare Krishna" person you are going to find numerous instances where the author inserts Vishnu/Krishna into the discussion where, in my opinion, it is out of place. It gets distracting and quite frankly, takes away from the brilliance of this work. It is sort of like reading great material with blips of propaganda mixed in.By all means buy the book, read it and make up your own mind. It is definitely worth the time and money.

Thank you!
Before finding this and Nakshatra - The Authentic Heart of Vedic Astrology I was lost due to life circumstances that I could have never foreseen coming. It opened my eyes and gave me access to a whole new world that only existed in my dreams. My fear of the unknown decreased due to the clarity gained through the simplicity of the explanations of the nakshatras, gods, symbolism, etc. The universal connection to other theories and the combination of resources used allowed me to see the greater picture of events taking place in my life and how the materials needed to create prosperity lie within. It presents a wide range of knowledge and combines them without judgment that one concept is superior to the other allowing room for growth and expansion of ideas that has the power to create unity for all. Thanks, Vic

A book larger than life...
The book was not as was expected... probably beacuse I personally had high expectations. However, this book is a good start for beginners in Nakshatra study, and is useful for intermediate students to fall back on once in a while to refresh their understanding and meditate upon the symbology and meaning of each Nakshatra...The author may want to give more attention to correcting errors here and there, and devote time for proof reading for the next version of the book... Thanks much, I personally enjoyed reading it...

Mythology stories on Nakshatras
This book contains mythology stories about Indian Gods to explain the meaning of each of 27 nakshatras. It doesn`t provide practical information about the nakshatras. It is very abstract. In the end of the book the author is trying with 2-3 sentences to give the main meaning of each nakshatra, but it is not enough information to understand very well the concept. In my opinion the book is missing in its main part the author`s view in nakshatras, he has simply collected stories, but would be good to explain nakshatras in more understandable and practical way through his experience.

Depth Archetypal study of Vedic Mythology
I am primarily a student of archetypes and the unconscious, yoga and Somatics, which I also teach, so I found my way to Vedic astrology and Nakshatras through this path. I find this guide to these stellar energies, and the authors synthesis in this and his other books on astrological energies invaluable to my continued study and development. As a bonus there is an extensive collection of companion YouTube videos and tutorials the author had made to continue to metabolize the invaluable Vedic mythology for self study.

You Will find much more information with a Google search.
The book was not bad; albeit left One wanting for more details on the Nakshatras & better quality of the overall book; I found the images used to resemble simple Google images copy & pasted onto a very basic white background; often with little to no asthetic. Also would have been helpful to include information on reading Kundlis.Overall experience; not impressed as most of this information can Be found on a simple Google search & Youtube of the Upanishads.

Clear and uncluttered
This was a very crisp and clear explanation of the nakshatras. The concepts were easy to follow, and can be easily referenced.

A real scientific temper at its best
Marvellous. A Scholarly Work. A real scientific temper at its best.It is a work based on original thought and original work and efforts. But let me warn you. It is not a work on Astrology. It is work on Nakshatras as a scholarly rendition of understanding pursuing a query and performing a scientific evaluation of Vedic and puranic sources. Secondly, those who do not know anything about Vedic knowledge, may not buy it. However, those who are serious readers and seek some real understanding and also those who want to undertake study in astrology, they should definitely go through it. It is another thing, that he has given some of his own interpretations. But, that is as per the craft of scientific evaluation of the sources which he has referred. Worth money and time spend on it. Those who swear by Vedic knowledge and Sanskrit language may just try to peep into it and learn how to be humble and then claim glory for the things for which they shout with pitched screams about their greatness. A great work.Secondly, those who read it on Kindle on PC, they may use Bookerly Font. In Georgia Font, many Sanskrit Transliterations do not appear correctly. The boxes appear. That destroy the continuity of the comprehension. Those who know Hindi or Sanskrit, they may manage. One thing more, his paperback editions are too costly.

It’s too pricey in compare to the content
If anyone planning to buy paperback, I will highly discourage them to do so, there is nothing that you will learn of any nakshatra, the know is very shallow and in bits and pieces. There are few stories that are picked from the Puranas and Upanishads, for that it seems Amar chitra katha does a better job. At this rate at least no Indian will buy this kind of stuff

Great explanation but not practical
The book explains the qualities and details of all nakshatras but how to use those details to interpret anything from anyone's horoscope is missing.
