Can't get it to work as the directions are terrible and no explanation for setting up with Sim card. I just wasted 100 dollars and can't believe Amazon is selling this product. Online help is nill

Hardware is actually quite good, well designed, and very functional. The manual is terrible, and software is even worse. Um not sure if it is was translated from Klingon but it is almost impossible to figure out how to use it. But the real reason why I'm giving out three stars is because of bugs and limitations. One, I can't disable WiFi tracking which is a problem because when the device can't get GPS coverage (which happens frequently, understandably) the device will report a completely inaccurate location, which makes the track just a jumbled spiderweb. But even worse, the software sometimes reports the device to be in the right longitude but it will report the wrong longitude (often a random constant) so the tracker shows a location along a horizontal line.These are likely software bugs but until they are fixed the device is useless.

I sure would like to know from anybody who is purchase this how to actually get it to work the first one wouldn't not even charge now the second one charges in the lights blink but I can't get to the app when I follow the directions it's like the app doesn't exist

ok when i got it i admit i had never deALT with a tracker before and didnt understand the sim card thing etc so it took me awhile to even get it going. i tried time after time to register with the app but it kept telling me that the device didnt exist. ;I figure im not putting in the right numbers. it wanted the imei number that i thought was on the sim card itself but it didnt work so im not sure how to get the sim number when its a tracker not a phone that i can just go to settings and look it up. it onluy receives commands. so my car wore it one day and even tho the app wasnt working it did allow me to call the tracker and then show me where exactly she was at that time. i got it because i travel and she comes with. so we leave and im confident in the fact that i can at least find her if i need to til i can sort out the app problem. the battery lasts only one day since i dont have access to the device to set it to a more thrifty mode. when it is all charged and i release it from the charger all the lights stop. i click the power button and nothing. again and again, i connect to charger again and the lights come on etc, unplug from charger and nothing... i tried this insane ritual for a few days. much to my dismay !!! and my kittys!, cuz she spent alot of time stuck in the car. i want to say again i had no idea how to do this tracker thing so the trouble up to the power problem were all my ignorance - and its very confusing and incomplete instructions. it should have explained about the sim card and made it easy to set up. i spose if it only works for a day then the instructions are useless in the end. ha!

This thing doesnt work. Instructions are really bad. It doesn't even connect, as it thinks in located in China
