These were shipped from China, which if you read the store description the bad English is evident (unless you're tired and it's late at night and you are just excited to find the safety eyes on-line because they can't be found in your local stores). The shipping therefore takes a few weeks.Using a hammer and the little metal setting tool that came with the eyes I was unable to get the back washer on completely so it could lock into place. I even broke a post on one eye while trying. My spouse was more successful, he placed the project on the carpeted floor and used the end of a 15 pound weight as a hammer to lightly tap on the setting tool and the washer successfully moved into place.There are no instructions included. I found a youtube video that partially explained how to install safety eyes. The washer is a half circle. Put the eye in place and put the washer over the post with the curved side towards the tip of the post (so the "cup" of the washer will will cup the eye). The setting tool has a wide opening on one end and a narrow hole on the other, the smaller hole is the side that is placed against the curve of the washer to tap the washer down the post. I hope this information helps someone.

They are small but do work. We were unable to do them by hand and needed the hammer and die set this seller sold.

Like a variety of eyes for my crafting projects.

Product was fine just very hard to get washers on even with the supplied tool.

hard to install by following instrutions. works better if you press the backing washers on and not hit the tool that came with a hamer.
