While the item was being, the seller sent an email letting me know it was on it's way. Super thoughtful, imo, and an awesome customer service touch.I'm familiar with African Black soap but not Morrocan Black soap. I read up on MBS and decided to purchase. I dug the philosophy of this company and went with getting my first order of MBS with them and was impressed. I do my own makeshit hammam situation at home lol. Even bought some kessa mitts. If u aren't familiar with a hammam bath, pleaseeee look into it. It's soooo worth it. I'm just missing the rhassoul clay and argan oil rubdown at the end. Lol. The soap is a thick, jelly like consistency that is green. Has a slight scent - nothing bad, though. Smells like what it is. My skin looks bomb lol. It's clearing up lil marks and smoothing my skin out. I always feel so luxurious after I do my at home hammam. The kessa mitts are life. I hid mine in my home, as I don't want anyone using MY mitt to slough of dead skin on THEIR ass... Lol. When I finish, I rub a good shea butter or oil into my skin and feel all lady like. Lol. I really love this soap and will order again. The quality, customer service and price are unbeatable. They even sent a code for $ off my next purchase. Really dope. 😊

I ordered this soap because I was getting a glove and it was recommended. I didn't anticipate how AMAZING this stuff would be! I live in a very dry climate and I get scales in the winter, my skin has literally never been this smooth and soft! With or without intense moisturizer I've never found relief until now.Now a few things, first it doesn't smell great (even the eucalyptus doesn't come through) I don't mind the smell...it smells just like olives.Second, the lid is terrible...it's metal and doesn't screw on very well at all, I would prefer it to be plastic. I may transfer it into a different container because it bothers me that much.Third, it's a very thick gel paste consistency...if you are having issues with getting it out of the tub use a cosmetic spatula (works fantastic!) Also, I use it on a jute soap pouch, the texture helps to hold the soap on it and makes sure it doesn't slip off while I'm washing.If you are on the fence, seriously but it now!

The picture for advertising is very misleading. Thats why it’s important to read kids. Had au done so, I would of been able to see what I was getting for the amount. Only used once, and have to learn how to use it better as time goes on, but from first impression it’s going to do what needs to be done! My skin felt much softer afterwards. A little goes a long way, and for that reason the size for the value is fair in my opinion. Take your time applying and start with minimal product: it is slippery as well, so you don’t want most of it to end up down the drain. I can understand why someone may feel as though its made with petroleum because of the smell, but if you’re only use to using products with heavy artificial perfumes then this may not be to your liking. I will be back to update after sometime.

This is a very nice, traditional Beldi soap. The eucalyptus, when combined with the nice steamed up air in the bathroom does well in opening up my sinuses. Those who don't care for eucalyptus should try out Fatima's other black soap, which doesn't include that ingredient. The soap lathers just enough to make application easy and a little bit goes a long way. I let this sit on my skin for about 10 minutes before rinsing and then thoroughly exfoliating with a kessa glove. I'm very pleased with the results. My skin is super smooth, and this combo of black soap and kessa glove has even managed to rid me of the small little bumps on my arms that drive me bonkers.I have very picky, sensitive skin and this product doesn't irritate it at all. Another plus. It's also a very moisturizing soap that doesn't dry out my skin or leave behind any odd residue.I recommend this to anyone who is curious about the benefits of the traditional Hammam/Turkish bath ritual, and also to folks who suffer from dry and sensitive skin. It's worth every penny.

I’ve purchased other black soaps which have a natural smell.This however smells like mechanic oil gone bad. Its so strong,that I hope the results are worth having to sit through. A plus is that it doesn’t linger but while using, it’s A LOT.

I really love this product. I live part time in Morocco, where I enjoy the local hammam and the natural beldi, hammam/douche/bath products. I usually stock up a couple of times a year on my favorite argan, rose and black soap products but since Covid-19, I have not been able to travel back and have depleated most of my supplies. After seeing your black soap here on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a try. THANK YOU! I love your eucalyptus black soap! It is very much like the soap I buy from my ladies co-op in the medina. It is good for my skin and the scent leaves me feeling calm and relaxed, like wrapping up in a soft, warm blanket. I appreciate having access to wonderful Moroccan products, sourced from women's co-ops so I have a chance to contribute to the community from afar, and can be reminded of my home away from home.

The color of the product is consistent with black soap but the smell is off putting.
