Haha, insane Russian pellets go bang
I got a tin (well, it's actually plastic) of these for myself and one for my dad. I have found them to be completely reliable in my CO2 pellet pistol. They work fine in my dad's break-barrel too. I also have not had a single one fail to go bang when it hits, even if it hits the grass. It appears that in the front of the pellet is the flash compound, and behind that is a small steel BB. When the pellet strikes something, momentum carries the BB forward into the compound and sets it off. These are great fun to shoot empty aluminum cans with. You can make out the flash all right in full daylight, and it has a pretty impressive flash in dim light. Don't shoot them in the total dark, of course; how will you know what you're aiming at?Wear eye protection while using these! You should always wear safety glasses with a pellet gun, but doubly so with these. The steel BB inside that sets off the flash compound flies away in a random direction when it hits, and you don't want that direction to be into your eye!The labeling on the package is all in Russian, which feels appropriate for explosive airgun pellets.

Really Fun !!!
These are so light weight that you can't expect competition accuracy - but that is not what these are for. We like to shoot them at used large coffee cans at night. You get the report and flash. Very fun for the shooter and the observers! I use them with my Crosman Vigilante. I just load up several magazines and we take turns blasting cans at night shoots. These are not allowed at my normal gun range, so it's a private property thing where we live - check your local statutes !!!

Close range , BIG BANG! Out past 40-50’, nada
Holy CRAP!! Out past 20 yards, pretty much nothing, but the closer the target, the louder the pop and the bigger the flash. Shot one into an old board under my carport at about 10’, nieghbors thought I’d fired a .38 Snub!! Still produces a gun like “ pop” at 30’plus but a few shot at targets out to 50-60’ were not much louder than the pellet gun is with normal pellets, as far as the flash and burn marks they leave behind, DO NOT SHOOT THESE AT LIVING THINGS!! Near as I can tell , they literally explode on impact. I’d say at close range they would seriously burn someone. However there is really no metal to them, they are plastic pellets with a small metallic powder charge, probably a magnesium / flint alloy similiar to the “powder” you scrape off a fire starter rod. Great pellet for effects and look great at night but not for target shooting ( unless close range) and definitely NOT for hunting or pests unless you just wanna scare em off in which case you’ll get a bigger bang by shooting them into a hard object like concrete or asphalt

WOW! Really works.
Shooting these from 20 yards at a block wall they really explode. It was about as loud as a "lady finger" firecracker. Be careful if you are shooting these from a spring-piston airgun and not a PCP. Spring piston guns need adequate resistance from the projectile to slow the piston and keeping it from slamming into the end of the cylinder. These pellets are pretty light but my Beeman R7 shot them with no problems. If you have a higher power "springer" you might consider loading the exploding pellet first then right behind it load a felt cleaning pellet to add resistance. I also tried this in the R7 and velocity was reduced but it exploded just the same. Now to test accuracy and see if I can hit something smaller than a block wall.

These are super fun!!! Great product..worth the wait and price
These little bad boys are so freakin awesome! They might not be too accurate for long range shots or small game but they definitely do the job for the money you pay and the visual/sound effects are pretty loud and and bright enough to see even during the day. I just wish it would come with a larger amount rather than only 50 per order. I ordered 2 after reading the reviews and I’m glad I did because these are really fun to shoot. Hopefully they offer it in a faster shipping option some time soon and in a larger quantity amount. I’ve seen the videos of how you can make something similar to these with super super glue and strike anywhere matches but I didn’t spend a lot of money on my air rifles to risk damaging them with homemade exploding pellets lol. These are great!!!!

Too much fun, only wish they were cheaper...
The media could not be loaded. I've attached a video of them being fired from a semi-auto pellet revolver. They will go off against most any solid surface, cement bricks, tree trunks, and wood fences etc. Just be sure to put them in correctly, the composition must face towards the target and the BB towards the shooter when loading. It uses a small BB whose kinetic energy is used to compress the explosive composition between the target and the BB itself to initiate the explosive compound. It's worth noting that this BB can come back at you so one might be wise to wear safety goggles...something I'm guilty of skipping when shooting pellets as they're far less ricochet prone than BB's.

Definitely will buy again
Not much practical use but giving credit where it's due these are awesome fun at night. I used them to scare away cats I could not/would not be willing to kill but Didnt want to tolerate hanging around. I only gave them four stars because with the lightweight and I have a lhasa T pellet rifle they are not very accurate at all passed about 15 ft they pretty much have a mind of Their Own. I would love to see somebody put the explosive compound in a normal pellet that would have accuracy and I'm sure they'd be a lot of fun in one of the semi automatic CO2 pellet rifles
