Purchased this milk thistle to help with my wife's liver enzymes levels. After a few months she went back to the doctor and her levels were down & she lost some weight as well. My levels were not as high as hers & now are in perfect range. So this pill has worked well for both of us.When this supplement arrived, we always check to see it our pill bottles are sealed tight, and this one was sealed very well...it had a seal around the lid, as well as a tight seal under the lid. The bottle was more than 3/4 full, not just a few pills with wasted air in a large bottle.The capsules are a light yellow in color and are an smaller medium size for most supplements. When the pills arrived we opened them and they had a light smell, that was fresh. The bottle says to take 1 capsules a day or as directed by your doctor; we take one pill & most of the time in the morning.Our family doctor recommended we start taking milk thistle (preferably one that was gluten free) about 3 months ago; and per our doctor we should look for one with a 30:1 extract ratio. Only time we take extra pills, is if we feel like we are getting worn down or might be getting a cold or the flu. These pills also seem to help with our energy levels when we feel worn down.We have taken two different brands and so far this one works the best for us. We also do not have to take two pills like the other version had us taking to get the same potency. GOOD PRODUCT AND FAST SHIPPING

I like that I can take these pills on an empty stomach, and they don't cause upset. I've experienced NO adverse side effects from taking this. Also, the price is great! However, I don't notice anything different about my health, either. I mean, nothing. I won't say the pills have no affect, because my body is like this with a lot of supplements. I don't notice any changes in the way I feel or my outer appearance. Nothing more, nothing less. I will finish the bottle, but I probably won't purchase again.Edit: So I have to come back and say that I believe this supplement is doing more for me than I initially thought. It's been subtle. I realized a couple of days ago that I'm not as sleepy after I eat, and that I have a bit more energy to get through the evening. I have a 10 year old son, so if you have kids you know how that goes! Also, the circles around my eyes are getting a little easier to cover up with concealer, so although they don't appear any lighter when I'm not wearing makeup, obviously something has changed. I have less water weight gain and more muscle definition without a lot of exercise; although I have more energy to get a small work out in before bed. I think I will continue to take these.
