I've had some chronic myofacial pain in glutes and legs and I've found Flavinoids and flavolignins can really help you heal. Apparently, I had some fibrosis / extra clotting going on as I got older (i.e. 58 ish). Milk thistle extract is one of many you can take (silymarin is a bunch of flavolignins, I believe; I also take diosmin / hesperidin and some quercetin (stay below 500 mg or so daily / resveratrol; ORAC energy greens) and extra vitamin C. This regimen along with stretching and exercise reversed or is cutting down on my sitting pain / neuropathic pain in the legs and glutes (i.e. less "sciatica") and reduced fibrosis in the muscles/veins, etc. I also supplemented with enzymes nattokinase / serrapeptidase and lumbrokinase, too, taken between meals to help with possible fibrin (or other amyloid type deposits) in veins / tissues. This milk thistle extract is a good addition to the above substances as a source of favinoids. I do believe these promote healing and proper tissue remodeling / regeneration which may go awry as we age and don't heal properly without the correct supplementation. One thing for men to be aware of - silymarin might cause gymecomastia “man boobs” if used too long (Larger / tender) - so be aware. I was not compensated for this review.

Coming from someone who realistically probably has internal issues from drinking so much when I was younger. It seems to make me feel better and be a very legit product. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now. I’ve just recently added another liver cleanse product. That’s called liver cleanse.These morning and night in those at lunch seems to work outstanding. This is an a bad product In it of itself.

I'm an optometrist and I see an acupuncturist for health maintenance. I bring this up because living in Hawaii, a lot of my patients enjoy the outdoors, and daily, I'll see eyes with yellow conjunctiva and diagnose that as a pinguecula. This change in the conjunctiva is usually due to sun damage or excessive eye rubbing. I recommend sunglasses and lubricating eye drops to prevent pinguecula progression. I, myself, am also a surfer and suffer from the same problem. My acupuncturist says the yellowing was from some kind of dysfunction in my liver. I ignored that.At 35 years old, I noticed my metabolism slowing down, I changed my diet to strictly Pesca-vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan diet. I've become very conscious how my body reacts to foods, products, and the environment with this lifestyle change. Eight months since this change, I wanted to keep my liver healthy and my acupuncturist recommended milk thistle. A week into taking my supplements daily, I found the whites of my eyes. Yay. Bright! I was stunned because this was such an unexpected benefit. I may recommend milk thistle to the right candidate in the next eye exam.End note, my pinguecula is still there but a much better improvement in conjunctiva health. I'll keep updated on any further noticeable benefits.
