Great film but beware no English subtitles! I had bought it to use with yrs 7 and 8 at school but it's too difficult for non native speakers at that age.

Great fun - thoroughly recommended. I did miss the verbal jokes, of course, as there are no English subtitles and I have only a smattering of schoolboy French from almost 7 decades ago. The acting and the expression on the characters' faces, make up for this minor loss. Where unsure what was being said, I just made up my own dialogue in my head!Set in the 1950s, when women were in command and wore pretty frocks, and downtrodden males wore short shorts instead of baggy Bermudas, the action 'sur la plage' is fast and furious. There are a few running jokes throughout, such as the guy trying to find a radio station on his transistor radio, then when he eventually makes it, others shout him down due to the racket. We've all been there, eh?

Excellent item as described. Quick delivery, highly recommended seller.

French cinema comedy at its best, hillarious and worth buying.

Super film don't on ne se lasse pas et qui nous fait rigoler a chaque fois!

Happy with all aspects of purchase. My mistake though was I saw it had subtitles and just assumed they would be English as was the original film. They were actually in French for the heard of hearing.Film was still good but with our level of french we missed a lot of the humour.
