Great purchase, built a volcano with it.
For my Halloween display this year. I wanted to add a erupting volcano to my island beach. After I built a frame I used this to cover the chicken wire and bucket. Really easy to use. Just cut, dip in water and form it. Dried quickly and stuck to the wire without any additional glue. One recommendation I have is when cleaning up the bowl you use to dip. Dump and rinse outside. I don't like the idea of letting this plaster go into the pipes. I fear too much may stick around and clog things up. Leading to a costly plumbing bill. Still I would completely recommend this product. Good for almost any science fair or decor project you can think of.

Great stuff and much cheaper than the small hobby store rolls
I bought this because I was tired of spending $15 each for the tiny rolls at the hobby store. I was on my 3rd roll and not even halfway through my HO layouts mountains. I took a chance on this stuff and I have to say it is even better than the Woodland Scenic's stuff for a lot less money! I like the wider roll so I can cover more area more quickly and it seems to layout a little smoother and is easier to get the plaster to fill in all the holes. I was able to finish the mountain area with about half this roll, so still have enough left over to probably finish the rest of the layout's hilly sections. highly recommend this over the other brand.

Great for Papier Mache Sculpture
I bought this material after books and DVDs by Johnny Goode about papier mach sculptures. It's a fabulous material to use to give strength to a project. I painted a small end table with colorful parrots that came out beautifully. The legs are weak and very thin. I wrapped this plaster cloth around the legs and later painted vines up them. Makes the little table much more useable. Now I'm planning to do a manatee table for the lanai using this material for strengthening the base.

You get a lot of cloth for the cost
Very good value. This costs a fraction of what most other vendors charge, in terms of cost per linear inch. One well known seller of plaster cloth charges about four times as much! Cloth applies easily and hardens fully overnight. So far it's working out very well.

This is great!
We used this on some Halloween masks, and it's SO much easier than papier mache! It is a bit heavier, but depending on what you're using it for, you may not care. It's great fun for crafting. Highly recommend and I will definitely buy it again.

It is okay.
I give this plaster cloth wrap three stars for a variety of reasons. Certainly, this cloth does exactly what it sets out to do. It puts a hard wrap, after drying, around whatever you desire. However, my previous experiences with plaster cloth tells me that for the amount of cloth used with the proper curing time, it should set quite a bit more firmly. This product just did not cure as firm as I would have liked, even though it had a decent thickness (after all the layers on top of one another and interlocked). The 5-Pound box is also far too messy to be used indoors. A simple cut of the cloth creates a vast amount of plaster dust that gets everywhere. A smaller roll would be easier to handle I'm sure. Although this product does smooth fairly well. A few top coats of some Gesso and you have a solid piece of craft/art.

This is the stuff!
If you're a model railroad builder, this is equal to or even better than the Woodland Scenics brand. The "triple" roll of Woodland Scenics brand has a shipping weight of 2.55 pounds, and is roughly $30. This product has a shipping weight of 5.85 pounds and is roughly $17. The math is simple, you are paying a lot of extra money for a lot of less product just for a brand name. As I said, this product is equal to or better than. I actually believe this product has more plaster on it, as it just worked while wet very nice. I have already purchased another roll.

Worked great making a cast for my rabbit. Probably saved me hundreds of dollars in xrays or casting. Not sure if she got a hairline fracture or why she cant stand, but this immobilized her leg and shes been able to sit up and stand for short periods. Has been on going on 2 weeks and still holding up great.
