Lydia Pinkham Liquid Herbal Supplement for Menstruation and Menopause Support, 16 Ounce

After reading reviews, I was hesitant to try Lydia Pinkam Liquid Supplement but I am glad I went ahead and did so! My cycle used to give me terrible trouble with nausea, bloating, headaches, clotting, etc. and no amount of pain relievers seemed to help. After some research, I stumbled across Lydia Pinkham and decided to give it a try. Two months in, and it has been one of the best female wellness remedies for me to date! The only other thing I changed while trying Lydia was the use of the LENA menstrual cups, so all other parts of my life were held to norm. (I really wanted to see if the claims were true and not related to something else like changes in my nutrition.) I can honestly report that Lydia worked for me with no side effects. The taste is rather close to licorice, as other have noted. To remedy this, I simply put mine in a glass with half apple juice, half water. I can still taste the Lydia but the apple juice and water mix "cuts" some of the bitterness out and its enough for me to drink it down at meals. I would recommend taking this either with a full meal or after one. I accidentally took this mix on an empty stomach once I didn't quite feel like myself; I wasn't made ill or anything-but I didn't feel like my normal self. I got a slight headache, but it could've been due to hunger as well. Overall, I think this has become a part of my natural, holistic wellness plan now.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive (TTC) for a year now. We're both young (27 years old), average weight, and non-smokers; however, we tried and were unsuccessful through 11 cycles. Before TTC I was on birth control for almost 10 years. When we decided to try, I assumed my body would take a few months to self-regulate after stopping birth control but I never imagined I would try for a whole year without success. In May I first heard of Lydia Pinkham. I began my research and in July I made this purchase. If taken as directed, this bottle last 10 days. For this reason, I decided to start taking the supplement on Cycle Day 3 so I would finish on Cycle Day 13; one day before my normal Ovulation on Cycle Day 14. This supplement is the worst liquid I've ever willingly consumed day after day. Instantly I begin to refer to it as dirt water. It tastes very earthy. I learned to take the shot and immediately chase it with a shot of Gatorade which seemed to mask the awful taste. I'm happy to report, today is Cycle Day 27 (13 DPO) and I was blessed with a positive home pregnancy test this morning. I highly recommend this product to anyone TTC.

I ordered this size after getting the 8oz bottle a few times, and I had a few issues when I opened my bottle this morning. First, I shook it up and took off the safety seal and the product seemed a lot thinner than my last bottle, and it had almost no herbal taste this time, it was just sweet. Then, I tried to put the lid back on the bottle and shake it again and product SPILLED EVERYWHERE. It seems like the lid doesn't fit right or something because it never stops spinning and I take the lid off again without having to push it down or even unscrew it off of the bottle. I'm wondering why each bottle I get is so different, and I'm worried that the inconsistency has an impact on the effects of the product.UPDATE: I wanted to update my experience with this product. It seems like every couple shipments I have a problem. One time the cap was broken and would just keep spinning and wouldn't come off, one time after I was halfway through the bottle, I starting norticing small broken glass-like pieces in my doses, and this time I open the box and there's dried product all over the inside and the safety seal was not attached. I immediately threw it away, and I'm disappointed because I didn't get to take my dose today. Amazon is sending a new bottle to replace it free of charge with no questions asked, thankfully. I really have noticed such a big difference in my cycles since I started using this, I just wish they'd seal the product better.
