š§ Unlock the Flow: Control Water Like a Pro!
The 1" DC 12V Solenoid Valve N/C is a high-performance water inlet flow switch designed for various applications, including water dispensers and washing machines. With a working voltage of DC12V and a robust pressure range of 0.02-0.8Mpa, it ensures reliable operation across a liquid temperature spectrum of 0-100ā. Its normally closed design allows for effortless automation, making it an essential component for modern water control systems.

Great value!
Great valve, used for automated watering system. It holds a constant 60psi without leaking when off. It has opened and closed with my timer without fail for 4 months now.

It works as advertised.
It works perfect for what I needed it.

P.O.S. This thing is useless, leaks when closed and failed in FOUR DAYS
Example of "you get what you pay for"..Pass on this unless you want to redo in a short time.

WARNING this is not 1/2"
This is NOT 1/2" thread, making it very easy to cross-thread fittings. It must be a metric size near 1/2".

Just works.
Works well!

Works well under pressure.
Works as described. You will need 11 v to trigger the selonoid. I needed this for a gravity feed application. It is more designed for constant pressure like in house plumbing.

It didn't close tight to stop the flow.
I wanted the valve to stop & start the flow in my aquarium in case of an overflow, It didn't seem to close tight the water still flows.

Works well
Installed to allow remote on/off of hot water. Works fine with water temperature up to 50C, no problems in first couple of months so far.

Great replacement for failed solenoid.
Used this on a sensor tap system where the exsisting 12v solenoid had failed. Still working after being fitted months ago.

Poor Design
Rather than actively opening and closing the valve when powered, this relies on water pressure to open when powered and likely a spring of some kind to close it when unpowered. In my case this meant that it constrained flow when it was supposed to be open, and then failed to completely close, leaking significantly.Don't buy

Flow rate very poor
Intended use was to empty a water tank but the extremely slow flow rate prevented this. With a pressure of a few PSI the rate was about one drop a minute. Not good for 1\2 inch connections provided with this unit.
