Off grid and mobile charger. Works with 12-24 volt systems.
Charges my Surface Pro 6 i5 256GB at upto 18,000mW. Using my custom built 18 volt Ryobi battery as a power source. During testing the 15 volt OEM charging cable topped out at 19,500mW. I also tested and determined that my SP4 and 6 will accept a charge between 10-17 volts. Anything higher than 17 volts and my Surface Pros will disconnect from the charger.Pro. Tested voltage at the cable end was 12.02 volts when using a 18 volt battery.Led light functions correctly.Con the charger has zero labels and no specs on the case.Note: photo included to show my 18 volt setup and charging rate.Tested on Surface Pro 4 and 6 both are i5 256GB 8GB Ram. The default charger on the SP6 is 15 volt 2.58 amps and SP4 is 12 volt 2.58 amps.

Success at last!
Like the ease of use; it charges Surface as expected;and solved a months long problem. My wife is on her third Surface due to failure to charge faults This mobile charger connected via a 120v/12v converter has resolved the issue. The normal chargers, (2 of them), are not a Microsoft product. We have passed our findings along to them. Their rep. was very pleased to hear of our fix. Your device was the key to our success. Convenient Surface Charger
It doesn’t charge as fast as the regular surface laptop charger, but at least when I bring my laptop on the go I have a place to charge it now.
