Are there "better" slingshots.. well maybe, but this is one of the best everyday workhorse types you will find you shoot more than all the others combined. It's easy to pack/store because it folds, and it's simplicity makes it very durable, and reliable. This is actually my second one. I still have my first one, 25+ years and 3-4 bands later. And it still is as trusty as every. Now my boy wanted one and I looked around, and you know what looked to still be the best all around, practical slingshot..His arrived quickly thanks to Amazon. It is slightly different from my now "classic" version, but looks to be built to same general form and quality. I love that I can give him his own, just like Dad's and I bet he'll shoot it with his son when the time comes.

Bad lil sling shot

I purchased this slingshot to brush up on the skill and to add to a BOB. Last week it came in handy when a large possum started sniffing around the door. Although I would have preferred a >1000fps air rifle (can't discharge a firearm within city limits), this did the job in scaring the possum away from house. Great price, and does what it was intended to do.

I bought this for my daughter with a bag of marbles just for fun and let me tell you, it is FUN! Everyone has enjoyed finding their inner Huckleberry Fin and shoot cans off the back fence. It's really easy to use. The rubber part that presses down on your forearm gives you just enough leverage to pull of a shot that can go some distance. We're not a family who owns guns or goes hunting but we do like to do off the wall things sometimes and this fit the bill. It is really well made and easy to use.
