Q: Is this safe to use on hair that has previously been dyed with henna

I use Lush henna every 2 weeks it doesn’t contain the minerals that react with hair dye. I’ve been using it with hair dye for 10 years as I find the henna needs boosting with a deep brown every 6 weeks to give me the dark brown that I prefer. A strand test is good advice if it’s a different brand of henna than the lush.

Q: I’m looking at buying this in medium warm brown. Has anyone used this shade? My hair takes well to dying but I don’t want it to go really dark.

Hi, I used this on someone else who has dark brown almost black hair with grey in her parting. Her Grey's went a golden brown and the rest of the hair remained pretty much the same color as before. Hope that helps.

Q: Will california beach cover orange and yellow tones in bleached hair?

I used this shade and the results were awful. It made no difference to most of my hair but my scalp and some of the hair near to the front have gone orange. I had no hair dye previously, it was all naturally hair, I just wanted to try a different shade of blonde. Completely regret it!

I don't remember any red tones but what I remember is that it didn't really cover all my grey hair.
