Color:Silver | Size:35.4in x 157.4in Keep your home safeWhen used on exterior windows, one way glass film allows you to see outside clearly but prevents others from seeing inside. Would-be thieves will have no idea when you're home – which makes them much less likely to attempt a break in.Maximize your privacyOne way window film allows you to see out crystal clear yet others can't see in. Let the light shine in and brighten up your home, enjoy the location of your home without feeling like you're on display.Save on utility billsUsing window films can significantly reduce your utility bills during the warmer days of the year. This window tint can save some people up to 50% off their cooling costs, depending on the size and type of windows in their home or office.Reduce glare on computer screens or TVGlare make it virtually impossible to see what's on the screen, and be a huge distraction. One way mirror window films can significantly reduce or even eliminate this glare. How To Install:1. Measure windows and trim film, cut the film 1" larger than the size you need.2. Clean the window glass and wet it with A LOT soapy water.3. Affix taps on both sides to remove the plastic liner from the film.4. Starting from the top, apply the film to the window.5. Squeegee out any air bubbles or imperfections with a smooth tool, such as a credit card or a spatula. (No spatula or squeegee is included in this item).6. Trim away extra film.Attention:1. It only provides privacy during the daytime. That is because the mirror surface reflects the daylight which is much brighter than a home's interior. However, when the sun sets the effect reverses, making it easy to see inside. Remember to draw curtains during night. 2. Mirror effect: The mirror effect we said means it has a slightly reflective effect, not totally like a mirror.

Incredibly Easy To Apply Perfectly
I bought the Ablave Window Film One Way Film Mirror Effect Privacy Static Non-Adhesive Decorative Heat Control (35.4" x13.1' Silver) window tint after using the Gila Privacy Mirror Adhesive Residential DIY Window Film Heat Control Glare Control 3ft x 15ft (36in x 180in) tint for several years. We have two windows that I tint every spring and then from which I remove the tint every fall. I purchased a new roll of the Gila brand in April, as I have done in the past, but for the first time had a great deal of difficulty applying it and couldn’t do so without having it kink and leave imperfections. I don’t know if they have changed their formula or source but I was very disappointed because I had always had good luck with it, but after applying the new Gila to both windows, I removed it and threw it away. The first thing I noticed about the Ablave was its weight. It is substantial. It went on with ease, cut easily and I could not have been more happy with how easy it is to apply. However and perhaps because of its thickness, it is not a clear tint. There is some sort of texture in the tint that affects its viewing clarity. A side by side with the Gila I applied to another window three years ago really highlights the somewhat blurriness of the Ablave tint. So from my personal experience, if you want a well-made tint that goes on easily for a window where viewing doesn’t matter much, the Ablave film is a great option, but if viewing clarity is important for you (as it is to us with our bird feeders), another brand might serve you better.

Easy to install, functions as described
I found the included instructions for this window film easy to follow: clean the window, measure window and cut film to size (with scissors), spray window with water, apply film to window, use a squeegee to remove air bubbles. There is no actual adhesive, so the film can be lifted and repositioned repeatedly if necessary. A few notes from my experience: (1) Instructions said to cut the film 1" larger than needed, and when finished, to use an xacto knife to trim. I did not add the extra inch, just measured and cut carefully with scissors, so I did not have any trimming to do. (2) I was not able to get every little air bubble out with the squeegee, but the remaining bubbles are only visible if one is within 2 feet of the window. It looks bubble-free from further away. (3) I purchased 2 rolls of this film. Upon arrival, one was taped closed with masking tape, the other with cellophane tape. The masking tape came off easily, but the cellophane tape left stubborn sticky marks on the first 6" of window film. Given that I paid about $.30 per linear inch, I was disappointed that portion of the roll was inferior. (4) The daytime look of this is just right: it does not darken the room, the view from the inside is unchanged, and from the outside, it is not a shiny mirror -- just a reflection of trees. At night, as noted in the description, a window shade or curtain is a must.

Fish Tank Dark Habitat
I applied this film to the face of my aquarium to eliminate some of the light coming in to the tank. The fish are various nocturnal cat fish that hide during the day. Now they come out while we are up and we can see them slightly through the film in front or on the sides where we applied no film. In addition we used this in a west facing half window that can be annoying at sun down. We plan on installing in all the south facing windows to cut down on light and heat.

Needs squeegee to install
This makes a huge difference in our LA apartment. Our landlord had to cut down a wonderful shade tree due to the neighbor property complaining, which was tragic. Our apartment now abuts a parking lot, and it was so impossible to keep cool until we installed this. This has made a huge difference in restoring at least a bit of the quality of life in having a livable environment.

Works on acrylic sheets
I used this film on acrylic sheets to make inexpensive two way mirrors i needed for a project involving infinity mirror effects. Worked great. Thicker than other film ive used and it passed for glass when hanging on a wall. Would purchase again.

Doesn't really work-People can still see inside my windows.
I ended up giving this to my sister because it wouldn't work for me, I thought maybe it was the angle of the viewer to my windows, but it didn't work on my sister's windows either. I'm giving it two stars because it stuck to the window and was easy to install, but other than that, I am not at all satisfied with it. My sister is keeping it on her windows because it kinda works, and it provides some sun protection in the window. I'd pass on this product and grab something else, just being honest.

Does the job
So I read the reviews here and did what others suggested. Spray the area with a mixture of water and very little dish soap. Apply the film, spray again and use a squeegee to get rid of bubbles and secure the film. I only purchased one roll which was good for mostly one window, but it was just to try it. It does block out the light and now reflecting on the outside.

Keeps out heat
I purchased this to help with the heat in a room. It's a rental so we didn't want to invest in purchasing any blinds but the sun is brutal that comes through. This stuff has worked wonders! Fair warning this was a total pain in the butt to install. USE SO MUCH MORE SOAPY WATER THEN YOU THINK!!! Giving it four stars though because it's still 1/4 of the price of the cheapest blinds and does what I needed it to do
