Sanitation Equipment Passport Potty 8 Liter, White

I've used these units in my Freightliner truck for almost five years now and they are an absolute life-saver for me. This unit fits perfectly in the unusable space where a built-in fridge would normally go, with room left over on top for an extra shelf. I store it there when driving down the road, and at night I pull it out and place it between the seats.It allows me to spend the night in rough areas without ever having to leave the safety of the truck cab, park overnight at customers (which almost never make facilities available to truck drivers) and more than once has come in handy during long-duration traffic stoppages.It's all plastic and I'm rather rough with mine. If I keep the moving parts well-lubricated with vaseline I'm less likely to break off the dump handle from kicking it closed at night. (It's still usable without the handle, just a little harder to grasp what's left of the original flat handle.) You can track down the manufacturer and order some replacement parts (I've spares for the two removable lids and the big rubber gasket.)I clean the inside of the base with holding tank cleaner I got at an RV dealer, this keeps gunk from building up around/within the gasket crevices and reduces leakage problems, especially when I overfill the unit. I don't use regular household toilet bowl cleaner because I'm unsure what those products would do to the plastic and rubber construction.I won't drive truck without one. They don't last forever under daily abuse but they're inexpensive enough that I just buy a new one and use the older one for parts. It's a tax deduction for me and worth every penny.The only downside with this unit I've experienced is that the little window that indicates the fluid level inside the base invaribly gunks up and quickly becomes useless, and I haven't ever found a way to reach it to clean it. The RV holding tank cleaner hasn't ever un-gunked it for me. It's a minor issue and I haven't missed it much, it's easier to check the level when flushing it, anyway.I wish more drivers would invest in one of these, it would make the roadside a lot cleaner (and if you're a driver, you know what I'm referring to here!)

Great porta potty! Have tried 2 other brands one too big, one not as well thought out. One developed LEAKS. I have carried this brand in a Volvo, Freightliner and Peterbilt. It is compact, easy to dump and holds enough. It sits close to the floor, but that's why it fits in the space I have. The only week point is the "flushing" handle. I have broken 2 of them in 6 years. Gentle handling made the last one last several years.

I was concerned about how small this potty seemed to be but once we got it out and set up, size wasn't an issue. It's very sturdy and when the strong winds blew our shower tent over, the potty didn't even tip. We did have one issue with it, and that was when we did the clean water plunge, it leaked around the stem. It was clean water so that wasn't a big deal for us, but I am going to call their customer service and see if there is a fix for that. The cassette for grey water was easy to dump into the pit potties at our campground, and that vent made it worth every cent! Once you vent and unscrew, it was super easy for all the contents to be dumped and not grossed out.

Bought for my pontoon and it has worked well and held up great!

This item shipped quickly and is fantastic! Well as fantastic as a portable potty can be. My kids were so excited they wanted to use it immediately! I explained it was for emergency use only on the boat. Needless to say the first Saturday out on the boat and after 3 hours of swimming and drinking (the adults not the children) it was used probably 20 times before the day was done, no exaggeration. We were able to spend many hours out on the water and not have to worry about who needs to go or having to pull up anchor and head back in. It's well worth the money. The size was perfect for storage on my boat under a rear facing lounger and changing room. I needed something under 12 inches high to fit the location. This is 11 1/2 inches high. It sits high enough for temporary use. I imagine it would be great for a corner of a tent also.

We’ve used this twice so far. Once for a three day camping trip and again for a drive-in movie night. It’s been handy during COVID so we don’t have to go into the shared restrooms. Also great for kids at the drive-in especially with a little one that has to go every 20 minutes! We are taking it camping again this weekend. It’s been amazing.

If you want to use this with a pump out adapter it will not fit. The upper half has a cutout but it is not big enough

I bought this toilet because it was the only one I could get delivered before my camping trip. Bottom line: it works. BUT - it's cheaply made, has a very small holding tank, and only sits about 18" off the ground. For the price, you can get something that is higher quality that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently.

We had the same model before and used it for years. Very happy that we could get the same model on Amazon. The size and ease of use was essential to us. Light to carry, empty, very practical.

During the time I was looking at this item includes hold down brackets. What they fail to tell you is you have to fill out an order form with credit card info and pay $4.99 S&H this is miss leading, in very small print not visible in the add is free bracket with coupon.I'm not very happy at all.
