I can't find anything to complain about with this product!
I bought this so we could move our new countertop microwave closer to the electrical outlet, and it works fine. It seems to be made very well and I don't expect any problems with it. It's also great to use behind bookcases, etc., where you want to move the furniture nearer your wall(s). I use one behind one of our bookshelves and just added a 3 foot extension cord to this short outlet, so I can plug appliances (like a vacuum cleaner) into it.So I definitely recommend if you buy this product to use behind furniture that's not easy to move (like a heavy bookcase), that you also first add a longer extension cord to it (with multiple receptacles on the outer end), so you can make use of any electrical outlet that is behind the furniture. Because without an extension cord plugged into this 1 foot cable, you won't be able to reach it once you've moved heavy furniture in front of the outlet. One of the uses for this outlet saver extension is that it is designed to let you plug it in to an outlet that's hidden and/or inaccessible behind furniture, so you can still use the outlet even though furniture is covering up the electric outlet itself. If you buy it for that purpose, remember that you may not be able to easily move the furniture to get to the outlet, and that's why you also need a 3 or 4 foot extension cord (plugged into this short cord's female end), so that longer extension cord can "extend" just outside the furniture, with this allowing you to use the outlet without having to reach behind the furniture..

Worked out perfectly
Every room in my house has at least one surge protector. In two of the rooms they are located behind a dresser, and when plugged in, they leave a 2 1/2 inch gap from the wall to the dresser because of how much the plug sticks out of the wall. I needed something with a right angle so that these dressers could be pushed up against the wall to look better, but also to not put stress on the socket from the dresser being shoved against it. Since i already had regular surge protectors, i felt these were the cheapest way to get what i wanted, without having extra surge protectors lying around. They work perfectly fine, so why buy new ones just for the right angle? This adapter has allowed me to keep my old surge protectors, and be able to push those dressers against the wall and look much better. very happy with this purchase, worked out great.

Better than ultra-thin for recessed plugs, such as in-floor plugs
I have a different use for this. I have some in-floor outlets and I want a right angle plug so that the cord doesn't stick up in the air. This one is perfect for in-floor plugs.I also tried the ulta-low profile plug from the same company. The ultra-thin is a great plug and it is truly thin. The problem is that the ultra-low plug will not work with my in-floor outlets. The outlets are set down into a brass cover plate and the ultrathin plugs don't reach down far enough to pass through the cover plate and engage with the outlet. So, even though this cable isn't as 'cool' as the ultra-thin one it works better for my in-floor situation since it sticks out just a bit farther.

Great, solid little extension that helps with special scenarios
It's not like we're talking about the latest iPhone here, it has exactly two features, one being the awesome right-angle male end that I have not seen in B&M stores and the other is the fit and finish, but as a bonus it has what I like to call the "nothin but net" feel of plugging things into it. It is easy to insert plugs and insert this extension into a receptacle yet it has just the right enough of grip. I was looking for this because I installed a "HomePlug" powerline networking adapter to the only free outlet in the bedroom and as luck would have it, the bed is right up against the socket so out of fear of jostling the "wall-wart-like" HomePlug adapter, the right-angle of this extension places it right under the bed and performance doesn't suffer.

Works Perfectly - Plug is a little Deep
This is a real, heavy duty right angle plug that allows you to plug in something right behind furniture without crimping an extension cord. It's short length should be able to handle up to about 13 amps depending upon the length of the cord that's plugged into it. It would have received 5 stars except the plug itself is a little too deep and, when plugged in, sticks out a little further than the average baseboard. All and all, however, it is a very durable product that delivers for a very good price. I'd purchase more of these if the need arose.

Great for Just-Out-of-Reach Outlets
I bought a mini fridge, but for some reason it didn't have the standard flat, right-angle plug so the cable stuck out about 3 inches from the wall and couldn't be plugged into the outlet behind my desk. Fortunately, this cord was the perfect solution, as it allowed me to extend that outlet from behind the desk and power the refrigerator without having to move my desk or worry about damaging the plug. It's UL listed, the cord feels decently thick, and I haven't had any problems so far.

Feels solidly constructed, from a company I trust
I keep all of my audio equipment plugged into its own surge protector , mounted to the underside of my desk. This worked out just fine, until I ended up with a DAC that uses a wall-wart. A rather heavy wall-wart. I knew about the various foot-long extensions used for the purpose of moving wall-warts around, and figured that'd be the way to go. I'm leery about bargain-basement cords, having seen cords that misrepresented their gauge, or what that meant, or had sloppy plugs, or simple weren't constructed well, or... etc. So this one costs a bit more than some others, but SF Cables have never let me down. No exception here - very well constructed little cable. Does just what I need, and I don't have to worry.

Really Flat Plug...Works Great!
I needed this to accommodate an appliance after we got a new range that blocked an outlet. When plugged in, this is super flat and works great in the space I had for it. The cord is very flexible, yet feels heavy and substantial. I am also happy with the length, because I didn't want a lot of cable to deal with (and didn't need). If I need something like this again, I will get another one without hesitation!
