The tape is strong. The tape holds well. The tape is flexible and can be folded back without loosening or weakening. But it’s barely wide enough for three narrow booklets and I had to use overlapping strips.

BookGuard tape was easy to use and exactly what I needed to repair my nightly prayer book that was my mom's at one time. It looks like it should last another 50 years. This is a well loved book and I was so happy book guard tape was able to help me repair it so I can pass it on to my daughter in the future.

We sell books and sometimes find the hardback covers loose. This tape is excellent for making a professional and permanent repair.

Wish there was a larger roll this size or a 2 pack.

I’m an elementary school teacher with a good-sized classroom library. I have many paperback books that I reinforce with this tape. I try to put it on the new books and repair older bindings as needed. It works so much better on the binding than clear tape! It comes off the roll easily, but sticks easily to the books. I’ll be ordering more to keep my library in good shape.

The bookbinding tape was exactly as advertised. I was upset to learn that a rather expensive book I had bought had a tear in its end page along the binding. Used this tape to reinforce the binding. It worked perfectly.

This tape is ideal for fixing books with cracked bindings and keeping pages from falling out. I just used it to repair a 111 year-old hardcover.

I bought this tape to patch my faux leather couch as tape for a couch was very expensive. This did the trick, but it was a lighter brown than my couch, but that was my fault as it says brown colored not dark brown. Hide sight black would have been a better choice. The reason for the 5 stars. If you are buying this for what it is intended for binding a book, I think It would be perfect.
