Great Survival Kit!
I have been looking around for a survival kit that would be worth my time and money, and this is the one I went with. Definitely worth my time and money and will continue to use it for all my camping trips.Receiving box:Arrived on time (Amazon Prime)Well secured in package.Items all fit snugly inside survival kit box, foam lining keeps them from bumping all around.Items Review:Knife is sharp, doesn’t lock however so keep an eye on that.Knife design is strong and simple, perfect for camping, hiking, etcCompass is super cool! Very accurate as well, looks fantastic!Flashlight is high quality LED!Fire Starter tool is perfect, fits in your hand snugly and provides a great spark, I always carry one of these when I go camping.Pen is excellent, very sturdy, looks more like a CIA dart than it does a pen. Writes well.Top end of pen is a window breaker, handy if you are trapped in a car or just need a window taken out.Belt strap for bottle is strong, will hold your bottle well, made of strong plastic.Survival blanket is 140x 210cm, can’t stress enough how important these are.Limb saw is perfect for on the go camping, hiking, even fishing and hunting.Paracord bracelet is very nice as well, includes a whistle, small fire starter and a compass, along with yards of the paracord itself.Survival card is strong metal shape, excellent design and fits perfectly in your pocket. All in all, a perfect little survival kit for your camping and hiking adventures, or perfect if you are a prepper. Strongly recommend!Note: The picture does not include the knife or emergency blanket, I immediately used the knife in my tackle box and the blanket is in my truck. :)

Nicely put-together survival kit!
What I like:Really nice packaging - (1) watertight plastic case (similar to Pelican) that holds most of the kit’s contents. This can double as many other things, like maybe as a nice case for your fly-fishing flies. (1) custom-sized drawcord sack that holds the plastic case and an emergency blanketParacord bracelet - adjustable size. Includes loud signal whistle and small compass. Also a neat feature: includes a magnesium rod on the snap closure, plus a small rasp so you can create magnesium shavings for a fire.Firestriker - This works well, and includes a tool that allows a user to scrape off a pile of magnesium shavings, then ignite it with sparks.Knife - incredibly sharp (I was able to shave a bit with it), with a nice carabiner-esque way to attach it to a belt loop or something.Tactical Flashlight - Small, light, well-built. 3 lighting modes (high output, low output, strobe). The high output is extremely bright! Has a nice pocket clip too!Pocket Saw - This is a nice addition to the kit. Works perfectly for smaller sized branches. You wouldn’t use this to cut down a tree - but, then again, why would you want to?Survival Business Card - Pleasantly surprised at how robust this actually is. Fairly thick steel, about the same thickness as two stacked credit cards. Maybe a little bit thinner. Has very useful tools on it as well! I actually keep this in my wallet all the time now, and it has come in handy a few times.Other thoughts:Tactical Pen - By itself, this is a really nice pen. It writes very well, and includes a sharpened tip that can be used to break windows or even to defend yourself. However, it’d be really nice if this kit included an all-weather writing pad as well. What good is a cool pen without a cool pad to write on?Compass - Given that there’s a compass already built into the paracord bracelet, I’m having trouble seeing the utility of this. I mean - it works and it’s pretty, but It’s also kind of heavy and more decorative than anything else. This kit would be better off with a true outdoors compass including features like declination adjustment, mile scales, clinometer and magnifier.Flashlight - Make sure you have a AA battery to use in the flashlight, as there isn’t one included in the kit.Knife - The knife, through sharp, doesn’t have any sort of blade locking mechanism. That’s neither bad nor good - but be careful during use.Waterproof Matches - I think this kit could really use a watertight container holding some waterproof, strike-anywhere matches. Actually, I think this would be a better addition than the compass. As discussed before, the magnesium rods included in this kit work well and are functional - but matches are convenient!

Small, durable, useful, great survival items included.
Everything inside the case is useful in survival scenarios. There are a few other things that should be added, but I would like to note that the size of this case may be misleading. It is VERY small - but that is an excellent thing! For a bug-out bag accessory, or a hunting accessory, you need it to be small. Size matters, because the amount of space a thing takes is important when you're carrying it all on your back! Great job!

Merit Badge worthy
I bought this for my son’s Wilderness Survival and Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge courses and the instructors were impressed. He even used the finger saw and fire starter for his Wilderness Survival course. They held up well. There is very little room for much more...unless you are willing to sacrifice some of the foam padding.

Back Pack Item
good item to include in the emergency back pack, compact enough not to occupy much space, big enough to use as needed...

Great Gift for Kids in Boy Scout
I bought this for my nephew who just joined Boy Scout last year. They are doing a lot of camping, hiking during weekend. This kit is perfect for him to bring with on every Scout event. Great combination and good quality.

Decent beginner survival set
This is good for a preteen to have, but wouldn't hold up in everyday use. Good gift for a young kid though.
