This exquisite handcrafted batik shirt is from the beautiful island of Bali, reflecting the island's tapestry of color and texture. Our Artisan uses a meticulous methodology to produce the time honored process of hand dyed Batik, which first involves applying intricate stenciling to our high quality fabrics. Then the fabric is treated with layers of dye, with wax for masking, to craft innovative as well as traditional patterns. The beauty of using hand dyed Batiks is that every shirt will vary from one another, making each garment unique and one of a kind.

Sizes not accurate, not 100% cotton
I have purchased @ 20 shirts from AO in the past few years, and have previously been very happy with them. Just recently they have changed their sizes, and they are not accurate. I measured myself on several dimensions, ordered a shirt LARGER than those dimensions, and the shirt I received today doesn't even come close to fitting. PLUS, the shirt is supposed to be 100% cotton and I'm certain it is not. It is a polyester blend. I might try one more time ordering a different shirt in a larger size, and if that one has the same flaws noted here, that'll be my last order/return with this brand.

Cool Unique Shirt!
Love this shirt! Great for summer in Texas. However, this one runs big and a bit baggy and roomy. I am in that spot between medium and large shirts, depending on brand and fit. This shirt fit me great and I ordered it in a size small. Color is accurate and lines are crisp, one of my favorite shirts in my wardrobe! I will definitely buy more in the future.

Needs a little better sizing but wearable
This was an OK garment....Needs a little better sizing but wearable. I got one as a present the first week of July that I sent back because the fabric tore when trying on.. Not good. Was sent back for a refund.

Just order one size higher and you will be fine
If you are a size 5 Tall like I am, order a 6. Otherwise you will look like you ate 3 plates at Thanksgiving dinner

Great shirt!
I bought several of these shirt and love them all. The fit is perfect, loose but not too big or boxy. My go to shirt during the hot humid Osaka summer. Colors and patterns look very good, this one being my favorite.
