Fruit Infuser Bottle for Flavored Infused Water - BPA Free and Leak Proof, 24 Oz

Great first purchase! I purchased 2 because of a special they were having. I'm glad I did! It holds a little under 16 0z after you fill the middle infuser up. It hasn't leaked and everything comes apart for quick cleaning. It is a little hard to twist open at times--but it could be because I might have over tightened it in fear of leaking. I purchased this knowing it wasn't glass. I've had a glass infuser and it was personally too heavy for me. I've recommended this brand to my patients as well as my friends!

The plastic is pretty sturdy and the infuser works well, but I really dislike having to unscrew the lid to take a drink, especially when I'm in the car. They're well made, but poorly designed. Seems like they could come up with some type of flip top spout or something.

I received my purchase in two days (thank you Prime). I purchased three bottles (one for me, my mom, and my co-worker) and we love them! I would have gave the infuser bottle 5 stars, but it would have been better if there was a spout to drink out of. I don't like the fact there there are several holes around the outer edge of the bottle that you have to drink from. I received it today and I've done lemon water and I'm about to do strawberries and kiwis next.It is a plus that it is BPA free and impact resistant. It holds a little more water than your standard 16.9 ounce bottle water, so that is an added bonus. It's simple to use and even simpler to clean. I have several other options to choose from and I am glad I ended up going with Heatwell. It's the perfect size and easy to hold, thanks to finger hole, it does NOT leak - at ALL! My coworker and I tossed ours upside down and every way imaginable and absolutely no leaking.If you don't like it, which I doubt you won't Heatwell has a great money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose.

Great idea, however, after using these for almost a month, I have some serious concerns. I started noticing mold growing on these bottles and at first thought it was a result of not emptying out the fruit in a timely fashion. I would hand wash with hot soapy water, all would be well and I'd use it again the next day with the same result - black spots growing on the inside near the top and the plug in holder for the fruit infuser This morning, I pulled one out of the dishwasher - and noticed mold was still growing even after using the extra hot water mode in the dishwasher. See the photo below. These have not been sitting around for any great amount of time. I fill them in the morning before leaving for work and empty the fruit out when I get home. They are re-filled with filtered water several times during the day and cleaned every night. This simply shouldn't be happening.

There were NO directions as to how to use this bottle. According to the "picture" on the package, the interior was supposedly removable so you could load fruit into it. I could not get the middle thing out. It seemed jammed in there tight. There was some paper in the middle thing, I wanted to get the paper out of the middle thing but was unable to do so. I'm guessing the "directions" are on that paper in the middle thing that I am unable to remove.I ordered this only to get my "total" up to $35 to avoid shipping charges. Would have been cheaper to pay the shipping charges on the other item I ordered.UPDATE #1: Finally got the infuser out, had to use a knife and slip it under the rim. The "paper" inside the infuser was just a product description, no "directions" for how to remove the infuser. I watched a YouTube video where the reviewer acted like it was easy to remove the infuser. Not me! I had to get a knife! Now I can remove it and put it back in.UPDATE #2: I'm not changing my rating, but after I finally used a knife to dig the infuser out, I now agree with a previous reviewer who said "this will make you drink more water." I put some mandarin orange slices (fresh, not canned) in the infuser. It took about 12 hours in the frig before I could taste the oranges in the water. Having to take the lid off each time to drink is a bit inconvenient. But I see why they did that. Putting a straw hole in might make it leak. On the other hand, if you take the infuser out, there is a hole in the screw on lid that is "plugged" with a silicone plug. If you take the infuser out, I'm thinking you could use a straw in that hole.UPDATE #3: Ok, I'm starting to like this product, but I'm still leaving my rating at 2 stars because I still have to use a knife to wedge the infuser out of the bottle. Annoying.Also, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I put mandarin oranges in the infuser and left them in FOUR DAYS (while drinking and refilling the bottle and refrigerating overnight). By the fourth day, the "orange" stopped infusing into the water. So, mandarin oranges will last about a good three days. Other fruits may be different and I'm not sure whether you should or shouldn't leave fruit in the infuser that long even if you do refrigerate it overnight.

I love my Infuser Water Bottle! I'm one of those people that do not like drinking water but with this bottle I can make my water any flavor I want!!!! I take it with me everywhere where I go so even when I am out running errands I drink water and not sodas!!!

There are alot of infusion bottled out there but i feel like i took no chances on quality. No leaks and its fun to drink out of!

So many parts it's kind of complicated to use as opposed to other bottles woth infusers I have. and the way it's pictured seems like you get 3 bottles instead of just one I guess I should have looked closer to the description.
