Tamiya 35291 1/35 German 3Ton 4x2 Cargo Truck Plastic Model Kit

A typically and predictably well-rounded kit from Tamiya. The simple build and modest part count allows one to focus on finishing & weathering. This kit is a perfect "blank canvas" due to the open bed. I purchased this kit almost 5 years ago and it sat on my "to do" list until very recently. I went with a basic grey base versus the later war dark yellow base with camo patterns. This was completed with a combination of shadow coating/airbrushing, artist oils for streaking & color modulation, dry pigments, sponge chipping & enamel streaking.

I purchased this kit for use in a diorama that I was constructing. It was a fun build and the detail was pretty good. No issues during the construction process. It's nice.

My son enjoys assembling military models like this one. We've discovered that lately models from the Tamiya company seem to be of better quality than Revell. This wasn't always the case, but the quality control at Tamiya is excellent. Not so at Revell anymore. Also, since Tamiya also makes paints, it's nice to be able to exactly match colors from the paint guide included with their assembly instructions. This was a nice addition to his collection and looks good on his military models shelf. Highly recommended.

A little disappointed in the structure of the cab roof, bent it getting it out of the bag, but otherwise typical Tamiya Quality. Watch that piece carefully.

Another great kit by Tamiya! I enjoyed building this one and it's ready for a diorama now. There were a couple small pieces that I dropped in the carpet monster so those were a loss but I made it work! Everything fits nicely, as usual from Tamiya. Instructions were easy to follow as well. If you're thinking about getting this kit just do it, it's a pleasure to build.

Fun for my 56 year old husband. My husband retired last year and this helps him from going crazy! I unfortunately have to add on a room tehe

This model kit is pretty good - however I noted the box did not have the normal plastic wrapping but was taped closed. Started assembly and discovered the wheel poly caps were missing! Improvised a fix! That’s why I only gave it 3 stars

Awesome cargo truck very detailed and a must for any armored division, I have a few of these trucks loaded with fuel barrels for my armored division diorama. I highly recommend this kit the parts all fit securely and zero flash, and a great price.
