Very nice record weight. Looks great, very high quality and works great too. I chose the tall version in silver.

I recently was gifted my mom's old records and noticed that they all had warped a bit over the years. I purchased this product to help stabilize the old records and some of my new ones that were warped when they arrived.If you look at my first image (before putting the weight on), you can see that the record had some space between itself and the slip mat. The second image was taken immediately after putting the weight on and as you can see, the space is immediately gone!Pros:- Perfect weight, I could actually see the warped record stabilizing right after putting it on!- Fits under lid of my audio technica record player, so I can close the lid while it's on.- Sleek design doesn't stand out too much against the record, especially sinceCons:- Only con I could think of would be that it covers the center art on the vinyl. This is a tiny grievance and isn't specific to this brand. I would much prefer my records to sound clear and remain undamaged over being able to see the center art while they're spinning.Target audience: Record collectors (and newbies/people with just a couple of records). Anyone who wants to protect their investment and be able to enjoy their vinyl music for years to come!

I had very low expectations. I was ready to call it out as the emperor wearing no clothes. But lo and behold, from the first record I put on, The Beatles White album, I could hear an extra richness. So I immediately took it off and played it again. The sound went back to a thinner less resonant version. Even my son and wife, who are not audiophiles, said they could hear the difference. I have been excitedly playing my albums in random order, discovering new sound qualities on my extensive collection. Lower bass, less wow and flutter, increased clarity. I can play the records louder too because it reduces feedback from my subwoofer. We’re talking about a 3-5% increase in sound quality. Like going from 128kbs mp3 to 320kbs. If your ears can hear that on your system then do not hesitate. Very affordable. And it fits perfectly under my closed dust cover. I am in sonic heaven. A must for vinyl fans.

Decent value for a weight. Not much to say. The finish on it is very well done. I don't care for clamps but i can notice sonic improvement in *some* albums with the weight in general. For slightly warped records, depending on the type and severity of the warp, it can make a very large different in playability.Overall, looks good, finished nicely, good heft - not much to complain about.

The turntable weight is low profile and is well engineered with a brushed finish. It fits right over the spindle in the album and works to dampen any vibrations the turntable may have while spinning up. Easy to use and easy to store, does it make a difference to the actual frequency generated by the cartridge and stylus, until I hook up an oscilloscope to actually view and measure the waveforms, unknown!

A good object to put in the middle of the record and it let the record play better with a better sound

This hockey puck works great.i own about 200 albums and there are some that are perfectly flat.this weight keeps the album flattened out on the plater which makes for accurate tracking.just wish I did this sooner.good product
