All sorts of uses
Only needed a little bit, but bought a roll to keep in my ‘toolbox’. Have used it for all sorts of things - a big bit to attach a power board to a wall, a tiny bit to stop things hanging on a door from swinging wildly whenever the door is opened, a bit to stop straps from sliding, ... Has been very useful.

I tried hanging a canvas which lasted overnight and 3 pictures which lasted less than an hour and broke the frames
