Easy to Use: 4 Simple Steps to Save Space and Keep Your Closet Organized! 1. Pack Ensure that everything you want to store is clean and completely dry. Open up the bag on a flat surface and undo the zip. Fold the materials and put them inside the bag carefully. Stack items on top of each other, but do not overfill. Make sure that there are a couple of centimeters spare from the edges of the clothes etc and the zip closure. 2. Zip With the items in place, use the plastic clip to zip along sealing the two plastic zips. Go back over the zips to ensure it is fully sealed. The surest way is to run the clip fully from end to end in both directions, and then to run your hand along the whole length of the zip between finger and thumb to ensure that there’s no tiny section missed. Please be noted that the clip is not fixed by design, so don’t panic when it falls off. 3. Vac When ready, undo the valve lid by unscrewing it, and then place the vacuum cleaner nozzle with no attachments on it over the valve. You simply need to press it against the valve, and then turn the vacuum on. It will then start to remove the air. You don’t need a perfect seal against the valve, but keep pressing it on firmly and the air will be extracted. Please be noted that 4. StoreAfter vacuuming all the air out of the bag, stop and close the cap quickly to secure an air-tight seal. Listen carefully for any signs of air leaking out of the cap or other zipped parts of the bag. Repeat step 2 if necessary. If the bags are tightly sealed, congratulations, you can put them under your bed or wherever you think is suitable.

Exactly what I needed - Compresses large foam cushions
I have a tri-fold extra large twin size 6" foam mattress, and a very small apartment. I thought I could store the mattress under my bed, but it did not fit. So, I decided to try vacuum packing the cushions individually. The first set of bags I bought did not work, but these bags were perfect!! I was able to easily store all three cushions under my bed. For reference, each cushion is 38x6x26". Highly recommend!

Pack up outside patio funiture cushions
Regular sized storage bags would not hold lounge chair cushion. Bought the extra large sized and they worked great on the lounge chair cushion.

they do not stay sealed
I bought these to try to store clothes, towels and other large things, that I am not using very often. They don't stay sealed. I have not open them, close and vacuumed them twice and they keep re-inflating.NOT happy with this!

HUGE... but sadly not durable.
The GOOD:These. Are. HUGE. 5'2" me could comfortably crawl in these. These held A LOT of blankets, clothes, etc. They sealed tight and took up a lot less space. The BAD:Once filled they are obviously super heavy and cumbersome to move. Best bet is to fill them and seal them where you're planning on storing them.... which wasn't an option for me.That being said... I filled them and sealed them on my main floor. I lugged them down to the basement and stored them off the floor on packing blankets. A couple weeks later I return to find EVERY SINGLE BAG LEAKED. And not from the zipper either. From the sides. Likely from the force of the plastic redistributing when I lifted them to move them (or so my husband suggests)VERDICT:Well I'm certainly not unpacking and repacking everything into a different container or chancing ordering a new set. So for now I'm the not-so-proud owner of 8 Extra Large Clear garbage bags.

Much larger than I expected. Vacuum works great!
Update: These bags are not very tear or puncture resistant. I have 4 of them leak air somewhere or get holes in them just transporting them in our car to our tent. They would be good if you carefully placed them in a closet that has nothing in it and you don't set anything on top. Not very durable at all.Wow!! These are so awesome! Much larger than I expected!! Testing it out, I put 2 pillows and 2 blankets in it. Secured the zip lock. The red slider thing feels like it could come off easy but it's just to pinch together as you slide the bag shut. Just be careful not to go too fast or lose it. I used the hand held pump. Took several minutes of vigorous pumping and alternating hands. Wears me out....but it did work. Next I tried using a regular vacuum and that worked even better!! Super fast, no hard pumping action and got the bag even flatter. There is a removable plastic seal where the vac hooks to and I was nervous the vac would suck it up but it didn't. I will put all my camp gear like bedding and pillows...blankets...and use house vacuum to pack before we go but will bring the handheld vac on camp trip for when we come back. I think I can use a portable vac and deflator too. The one i use for airing and deflating our air matresses so that would save a lot of time too! Super EXCITED!!! There are 8 bags so i gave one to my mom and maybe one or two to my other friends then keep the rest. They are so big I only need a few for stuff like coats...hats, gloves...xtra blankets and pillows...towels... Halloween costumes... Stored properly these are good for a year. Can't believe i never used these sooner!!
