SeaSense Mooring with UV Inhibitor Snubber, Black, 24-Inch

I waited to write this review until I had used the snubbers a bit since some reviews talked of them breaking. Not too many of the reviews included the size of the boat or where it was moored, to know how to compare it to our situation.It's now been almost 2 months, and we had a tremendous amount of cross-wind with Florence coming through. These snubbers have held up well, and kept the boat from chafing the lines or against the dock. Extremely pleased, especially for the price!

I bought two of these, one to use and one as a backup, The one I installed lasted about a month before it broke at the loop allowing my mooring line to take a lot of abuse the snubber was installed to prevent. This product is supposed to be able to take the shock out of wind and waves without breaking so easily. Poor design and poorer rubber used in its manufacture. Totally unsatisfactory.

The snubber works on lightly loaded lines. When the weather turned sour, the snubber on my spring line twisted into a pretzel allowing the line to straighten out. I bought a regular snubber.

I installed two of these snubbers on my lines. One seemed to work as it should, but the other just wrapped itself around the line and was of no real value. The items came without instructions, and as far as I could tell were installed with care to make them identical. I will spend more on my next snubber purchase. Nice, round snubbers soon.

The is mooring unit was not elastic enough for our needs.

These are great. They are inexpensive and work as intended on my secondary docking lines. Several people have seen them on my boat and asked where they can get them. These would be perfect for anything under 25', or on secondary docking lines for larger boats.

DO NOT BUY!!Not good at all!!!!Like a previous review! The product twists and the dock line straightens out and is non effective! Save your money or spend a bit more for a much better product.

We all know strap type snubbers are not as good as cylindrical section type, but these are so much less expensive. Much thicker and mre robust than I expected and are working fine on my 9000 lb boat.

I wish the description had indicated the size and weight of boat it was designed for. My boat is 24,000 pounds, and I'm afraid they will not last if there is a strong wind or waves that are too important. I'll probably go back to weights on my lines for my usual dock.

Good product for price.My boat weigh 4500lb, so works perfectly.

Only lasted 1 month on dock lines for our 34' searay

Replaced my metal spring snubber's with Seasense rubber snubbers. found them easy to install with no possibility of scratching or damaging my boat as experienced with metal ones. Very Happy so far
