Great product. The only beard wax I'll ever use.
Honest Amish Original Beard Wax is a great product for the discerning man with a beard. I love wearing my manliness on my face, and I'm not talking about a tightly trimmed, and manicured face garden. I'm talking about a BEARD. A face blanket that makes other men stare in jealousy. A jaw-bristle that makes women swoon. A kitchen shelf that brings compliments from complete strangers in the supermarket. Yes. A B-E-A-R-D. Beard. One day I said to myself, "I want to wear a longer beard, but I want it to look like it's on purpose." What could I do? There is such a fine line between wearing a beard well, and wearing it badly. Enter: Honest Amish Original Beard Wax.I purchased this wax to try it out and I'll never turn back. I wanted something to condition, yet have a little hold to keep everything in its place. Honest Amish Original Beard Wax does exactly that. My whiskers are relatively soft, and I have no desire to shape my beard into beautiful works of art, so the original is perfect for me. It goes in easy and holds it all together, leaving an ever so slight, but pleasing aroma. It also gives my flavor saver the tiniest amount of shine, making it more pleasing to the eye. In addition, it's all natural, and the packaging is amazing. A beautiful presentation. If you have stiffer chin bristles, or want to become the Michelangelo of beard shaping, I suggest an Honest Amish product with more hold. The Original is for looking good and natural.Since I started with Honest Amish, I can't stop looking at my crumb catcher in the mirror. Sometimes, hours go by and I'm still admiring the masculine forest of face flora that has grown upon my chin and cheeks. Why me? What have I done to deserve this gift?Honest Amish Original Beard Wax. It helped me make the leap from being a man to being a Bearded Man. It can help you too.

Seems to work well, just not well enough for me.
I'm new to the longer facial hair growers' club, having recently explored growing out my goatee after taking a week-long camping trip 2 months ago. No recommendations going in, so I went shopping blind & bought this product. Wasn't sure at first how much product to use, so I had to experiment. My beard grows a little unruly, with some follicles pointing in various directions, whose hairs are... crooked? Left unchecked, it kind of looks like a mashed brush vacuum attachment. Maybe that's most guys, I don't know. I just kind of wanted a growing-straight-down, orderly-looking beard.Pros: I like the scent. I like that it uses all-natural, eco-friendly ingredients, and that they've been at it for quite some time. Can't beat time-tested. Cute logo. (I've never heard of them until shopping around.)Cons: It's wax, and wax can be messy. Sticks to fingers and combs & brushes; requires repeated washing & rinsing to get the stickiness out. (Don't use dry paper towels, you'll just have lint + wax instead of just wax.) Bought a sandalwood beard comb (not cheap BTW) and have to wrap it in a hanky to keep with me. Residue can be felt on bare facial skin next to mustache & beard. Not much in the way of instructions included, but I guess that's what YouTube instructional videos are for. Turns out I have to use quite a lot of product and apply multiple times with a beard brush (also not cheap). And still, it seems no matter how much I use, there are still a few hairs that WON'T LIE DOWN, especially at the sides of my mouth. Alas. Maybe I just need to trim it. But at least now I have kind of a routine going.Little anecdote. I go to Renaissance Faires a lot, and this is the first year I've gone with facial hair this long. Went as a pirate to one this summer. Styled my mustache with an upward curve and my beard to a point. Received a compliment when I had my picture taken with a gorgeous she-elf.tl;dr- If you have a relatively "tameable" beard, this should work. If they made/make a stronger version of this I'd be very interested.
