This solid Spanish Cedar wood boards are sustainably harvested from our environmentally friendly reforestation projects in democratic Costa Rica. This Spanish Cedar has the scientific name cedrela odorata. Spanish Cedar wood is very durable and has incredible properties. Spanish Cedar is very similar to mahogany in terms of the color and woodworking properties. This Spanish Cedar piece of QUARTERSAWN wood measures 3.125 inches wide X 1.125 inches thick X 30.5 inches long and are made from 100% heartwood. They are very finely milled and accurate in size. Quartersawn wood has vertical grain.
