Great cast iron wok!
It is the perfect size of cast iron wok I have been looking for. Retains heat evenly, cooks evenly, fits flat on my stove top and the non stick feature makes my cooking process easier.Cleaning was very simple as well. I followed the instructions that were given for care after cooking and it was very helpful. Great wok!👍🏽

Cast Iron RULES!
With the updated non-stick surfaces all the rage, I would like to show my support for cast iron. It's an all natural way to obtain the perfect cooking surface, and has been used for thousands of years. You can't go wrong with cast iron, as long as you take a few extra minutes in your cleaning routine to properly care for it. I have 3 cast iron fry-pans of different sizes that I have been using for over 20 years, and this wok is a great addition to my kitchen.The flat bottom is genius. It really helps distribute the heat and gives a stability I would not have imagined. It has been pre-seasoned, which really helped me to integrate it into my kitchen, although true seasoning of a cast-iron surface can only happen over time, and with proper care.I love this wok. And it will be excellent for frying batter and bread items with very little oil. Cast-iron skillets are famous for turning out perfect pancakes. This wok will be amazing to take pancake batter to the next level, and I can't wait to try donuts.Such a great investment.

Wanted to give this 5 stars, but
This is a wonderful cast iron wok. I am currently using it. The only issue is this. I was not the one supposed to be using it. It was supposed to be a gift to my son, for his very 1st cast iron and a wok that he has been asking for. I was killing two birds with one stone. Sadly, when this wok arrived, it was SO not ready for my son to take it over and start using it. My husband and I ended up giving my son our very well seasoned and used cast wok that I have had for many years. He was over joyed to get it, however, now I am here with this wok that felt like the courses type of sandpaper ever, inside the wok. My husband went and got some sand paper from his shop and we sanded the hell out of it. Then we started the seasoning process. It has a good starting season on it now and I have started cooking in it. I will say, that if I would have gifted this to my son. He would not know what to do. He knows how to keep cast good, just does not know how to fix a bad seasoned cast and make it right.It is now well on its was to being in my life forever and that is good. However, I was not expecting to get a cast that was so badly pre-seasoned and so rough.It is a hell of a nice cast though! If you know how to work with cast iron then it is really worth the money. Just do not think you will bust this out and start cooking. I would not suggest it at all.

Beautiful cast iron
Didn't worry about the few "bad" reviews. This is a beautiful cast iron wok. Just like any cast iron it needs to be seasoned properly before use. First I cooked a few pieces of bacon in it, ate the delicious bacon, and then rubbed the grease so over it, not just the cooking surface but the outside as well. Put it in my oven at 350 for an hour and just turned off the oven and let it cool over night. I made amazing fried rice last night , left oil in it overnight to continue seasoning and today I made enchilada sauce and nothing stuck or rusted. Do not use soap on any cast iron. It is best to just wipe down with a paper towel and let the oils stay in the wok. I am so happy with this purchase ☺️💕☺️
