Size:4.4 Ounce Tin St Helena has been a British colony since the 17th Century and is one of the most isolated of British overseas territories. The native Green Tipped Bourbon Arabica varietal coffee was introduced to St Helena in 1733 by its then owner, The East India Company. The island's most famous resident was the Emperor Napoleon who was exiled there after his defeat at Waterloo 1815 until his death in 1821. This coffee yields a cup of superb elegance and subtlety characterized by floral bouquet and a pronounced acidic fruitiness. The Peaberry beans constitute only about 5% of an already very small and rare coffee crop. This coffee has clean, bright and beautifully balanced notes of citrus, honey, berry and stone fruits.
