Good news for screws!
Well, what can you say. It’s a flattened steel donut that acts as a bearing surface between a screw head and whatever material you are screwing. It actually works great as long as you use a #6 screw.

Well Made, Zinc Plated Not Galvanized, Perfect For Applications Where Pull-Through Is A Factor
There are lots of reason to use a washer with a screw. The one that I got these for is to minimize the risk of pull-through; to increase the effective area of a screw head. My example is mounting a flakeboard panel to a couple of up rights as a mounting surface for various equipment.This #6 washer is made for use with a pan head or other surface screw. An alternative is to use a truss head screw which has a larger head for my sort of application.These washers are steel and and stronger than brass but is more subject to corrosion. This is "zinc plated" which I initially confused with galvanized. It's not the same. Galvanized hardware has a much thicker zinc coating making them suitable for use outside in the weather. In contrast these have a kind of zinc electroplating which is much thinner and mainly seems to make them shiny and pretty may help reduce corrosion.These are exactly what I expected. I think Snug has done a good job and the ones I used so far have worked perfectly. Because these are giving me all I want from this commodity type product I'm giving them 5 stars.

Not bad
Basic zinc washers, I use these to reinforce especially when working with certain metals and plastics. Nothing fancy but get the job done and save money at the same time makes these a hit.

Well made, zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Uniform size. I'm not sure what else to say about a washer. They can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The washers are steel.

Used if for a project at school. I should have read the measurements. It was a lot smaller and lighter than I anticipated.
