A realistic look into a designers work
This is a great book to help you understand just what it takes to make or design world class furniture. If you have been led astray like I have by books claiming "Build like a pro in one easy step" or "Dovetails made easy" this book will be a great read into the reality of the furniture market. Good design just isn't made in one weekend it can take months or even years. If I have one complaint it would be that the author should have cut down the number of designs in order to share more of what the designer went through.

Very Interesting Book
I bought this book for a class but found it to be a very good read. There are lots of interesting process pictures as well as short articles which makes this book easy to read as well.

Interesting
Production values are high for this softback book, which gives an idea of the journey from product concept to physical manufacturing. The detail for each item is necessarily quite light but for my own casual purposes this was sufficient.
