Outdoor Guy 4500PSI Air Tank Regulator Output Pressure

I have a Cometa Lynx .25 cal PCP rifle that consistantly shoots 800fps avg with power turned all the up. I swapped out my stock 1600psi leaky regulator with this new 1800psi output unit from Outdoor Guy. The extra 200psi made a big difference in velocity. My chrony tests indicate a 40fps avg improvement(840fps) over the stock valve using same 25 grain pellets. My lighter 19 grain pellets were going over 900fps. Bottom line I'm very pleased with the new 1800psi valve.Couple of tips;1) Lube the O-rings on each end before installation.2) Use the pressure gage from your old regulator if possible so you don't overfill3) Swap in the blow out plugs from your old rifle if they have a lower rating4) Carefully clean out threads if you do any plug and gage swapping5) Use Teflon or high pressure black tape on plug and gage threads

Works perfectly with my Gauntlet air rifle, very consistent shots, works with Ninja bottles. Worth getting if you're into consitent shots! Very easy to install!

The short: Love this regulator, would recommend 10/10I bought this regulator as a replacement for my tank because of the low price. With this, the low price does not mean low quality. It screwed onto the tank nicely, didn't feel any poor thread cutting. Fill adapter is standard size, so no problems filling the tank. Gauge displays the correct pressure. It does extend the total length of the tank, but for me that was a good thing. With my old regulator I couldn't screw the tank all the way on due to the gauge hitting the gun, but with this it goes all the way on.

First time out when I first gassed up the marker the low pressure burst disk popped. Second time out, first fill, the LP disk popped again. Regulated pressure must be above the regulators rating. I have and will never shot my marker with this reg, can't miss anymore field time on this piece of junk!Why can't I rate zero stars?

I purchased 2 of the above mentioned product from outdoor guy but wasn’t impressed. There was no instructions except to unscrew the top. I had no idea how much pressure it was set up to and no further info. Upon unscrewing the top I noticed metal shavings inside. I didn’t have any luck in finding an answer to my question so I simply returned both units and will look for another product with instructions and better quality control.

Is an exact replica of the original regulator that came on my Tippmen bottle . Has reg pressure set at 1250 instead of 850 .
