OEM Filter
The filter comes pre oiled in a bag and pressure tested from the Ferrari factory. If you didn’t know you don’t drive your Maserati enough, because I’ve already replaced 3 oil filters. Bless the seller because I don’t have to order from EU.

Pre oiled! Not used…
At first I thought I got a used filter, but upon the comments, it’s just preoiled. That should be in the description to prevent bad reviews ( like the one I almost left haha…) It was heavy leading me to think it was filled with shrapnel, but figured it couldn’t have been because the oil did look clear and smelled new. Thanks!

The filter I received was not Maserati OEM filter
The filter I received was not a factory Maserati filter it’s a counterfeit. It had a flat rubber washer instead of an O-Ring like the factory filter. The bypass valve in the factory filter is totally different and the filter is dry not oil soaked like the factory one. The printing and color is spot on but that’s all. See attached photos.

They come pre-oiled; it’s not a used filter.
Authentic factory Ferrari/Maserati filters come filled with oil and in a plastic bag with oil in it, twisted and tied at the top. That’s factory filter. If you’re doesn’t come like that, then you got a fake one.
